Pizzeria Aurora Sorrento In Sorrento

First, let me clarify that this is more of a diner experience than an Italian Restaurant. An older gentleman was very nice outside and sat us quickly inside where you can see the dessert display immediately upon entering. We ordered some drinks but the server seemed to forget about us as was the case throughout the meal, never checking in at all. The burrata appetizer was good but the accompanying tomatoes were the dullest I have eaten in Italy. Main dishes were small portions and not seasoned well. My tagliatini was nothing more than spaghetti. Overall, the food as 3.0 and overpriced by a mile, and this is more of a diner that is surviving based on its great location. Not a place for authentic or creative food but fine for a quick bite.

The two of us went to Aurora and had pizza. The terrace is very cozy, and the staff was very attentive. We did have to wait a bit for the food, but it was all the more worth it. It was truly delicious and absolutely reasonable. We can definitely recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Sorrento.

Food was not bad and local staff seemed nice and friendly, there were some members of staff though that were rude. I understand that the place is full of tourists and it’s hard work - but I have not been enjoying getting a feeling that I‘m making their lives harder through my mere existence as a guest.

Extensive menu. A bit pricey Great service. Speaks English. Gnocchi Sorrento flavorful and rich. Wine portion smallest of my 10 day Italy trip. Portion sizes of food ok.

A little “touristy” for my taste, but it’s a super family-friendly environment.

We had a wonderful lunch at Pizzeria Aurora in Sorrento. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a Greek salad, a Margherita pizza, and an Aurora 50. Everything was delicious. The service was fast! The menu was in Italian and English. When we are back in Sorrento, we will definitely dine at Pizzeria Aurora.

The Napoli pizza with anchovies, capers, and olives was excellent! I don't usually eat the crust, but it was truly spectacular.

This place was recommended by a local. We tried it for the first time, and then returned for the five days we were in Sorrento to try various dishes and desserts. This restaurant is a 10/10. The food, the service, the location—everything was perfect.

Tan delicioso - fuimos dos veces. Las pizzas y calzones eran increíbles. Gran servicio y ubicación perfecta! También tenía la ensalada César. Las pizzas de corteza rellena se veían increíbles, pero ya pedimos cuando las vimos. Puede abarrotarse, por lo que puede tener que esperar un poco, pero son muy serviciales.

Nuestro camarero Angelo era fantástico y la recepción delantera fuera era muy sincero. Todo lo que explicaron era cierto, la comida era excelente. Probablemente la mejor pizza que tuvimos en Sorrento. Realmente apreciamos conocer a la familia, especialmente Nonna.
