Pizzeria Alle Gru In Portogruaro

All the other pizzerias were closed this evening, so we ended up at Alle Gru. It looks rather unassuming from the outside, but the pizza menu is impressive. Piero, the owner, gave us excellent advice and helped us choose the perfect pizza from the 70 available. There were six of us, and the pizzas all arrived at the same time and were delicious. As an amuse-bouche, we had a pizza fries, just like in the South. We had a lovely evening here and want to come back. Keep up the good work!

For those who enjoy Neapolitan tradition, from what I know, this is a place that can't be missing from the list of favorite pizzerias. The quality of the products is excellent. Highly recommended.

The pizza is very good, the dough is soft and looks perfect, very digestible and most importantly, it doesn't make you thirsty. The place is very nice and the staff is very friendly and kind.

Mandatory Pit Stop when entering Italy! A kind of sanctuary, we always stop at the entrance and exit (sometimes not because we took the closing day. The pizza is made by hand with excellent quality ingredients and the standard is always the same (which is difficult these days since one time you eat well in one place and the next time not!) This time it was even better given the Horrible pizza I ordered in Targu Mures (and which I forgot to write a negative review about. I had been very happy in Alba, pizza made by a Romanian pizza chef with years of schooling done in Italy while in Targu Mureș, from an Italian restaurant, I got ripped off. I will go down to Tuscany and I don't think I will be able to find better than the excellent pizzeria in Portogruaro.

Always a guarantee with a pizza that… come on, try it!!!
