This is a local favorite and deservingly so. They are serious about their pizza and the first bite solidifies any opposition. The house wine was not as full as other local Hosteria’s but that can be appreciated as well. My choice of sausage pizza was very distinct as the freshness stood out each bite.
Service was speedy and receptive to my intermediate level Italian skills.
As soon as I was seated a +20min line formed. So yes, I’d say take the time and enjoy some pizza romana

It’s a different, more local experience, with nothing fancy in terms of service. If you can go in with that mindset, you’ll have the best experience of all. The food is delicious — we ordered two pizzas, and the wine is very casual. The tiramisu dessert was generously served and absolutely tasty. Our waiter’s service was exceptional; he was very busy since the place is always full, but he was quite funny, with a bit of heavy-handed humor, yet very kind. I would definitely come back again for both the flavor and the overall experience.

I highly recommend this place; they make authentic Roman pizza, delicious and reasonably priced. The place is always busy, so you might have to wait, but it's worth it! It's a very colorful place with that local feel.
I had a salad called "Unbelievably Unusual Salad," something like that. It's truly unusual, with a mixture of everything: canned and fresh vegetables, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and eggs. It's an acquired taste, but I loved it.
I had the "Con fiori di zucca e salsiccia" pizza: delicious cheese, thin crust, and tender ground beef.

The pizza is good but not exceptional however as for the supplì and the cod fillets they are the best. The supplì are crunchy, the fillets are huge and crumbly and very good. It is worth it. Average price.
