Pizzeria Acunzo In Napoli

The pizzas and fried foods were good. Service was a bit slow; we were a group, and the first and last pizzas were delivered 10 minutes apart. Otherwise, it was fine.

Quality, courtesy, and friendliness. Delicious food. Now every time I go to Naples, I can't help but stop at my favorite pizzeria. The potato croquettes are excellent. The Ducale red beer is delicious. Cute place, but small and doesn't allow much movement. Not suitable for large groups. Given its size, it's not even conducive to a good, pleasant conversation, as if someone with a loud voice is nearby, you can't really understand each other. Aside from that, it's worth a visit for the quality of the pizza.

Vomero neighborhood, Naples. This is a nice, small place, with an outdoor dining area on the side and tables outside at the entrance. We went on a Saturday, and it was very chaotic and the wait for a table was long. The pizza al pala needs to be revisited; the flavors are excellent, but the product offered, for me, isn't up to par with a classic pizza al pala. The other classic pizzas were good, including the fried filling. I recommend checking the frittatas and crocche' carefully, as they were cold in the center, even though the flavor was good. Parking was very difficult to find. Service was quick, and prices were a bit high, but in line with the area.

Great pizza, friendly atmosphere!

Quality is at home here, a very light dough, I took a calzone with escarole, what can I say 110 and praise!!! The dough is fragrant and soft at the same time, the filling is super, the escarole is cooked very well, the ingredients are truly quality. I will definitely return soon. In the meantime, my compliments to a craftsman of the highest quality.

Acunzo's pizza is a true Neapolitan experience, authentic and satisfying. The dough is light, well leavened and cooked to perfection: fresh and quality ingredients that enhance the flavors. What made the evening even more enjoyable was the service of Marcella, a sunny, precise and attentive waitress. Smiling and with authentic kindness, she was able to advise us with competence and managed the service impeccably, without ever being intrusive. You come to Acunzo for the pizza, but you also return for the welcome. Congratulations to all the staff, and a special thanks to Marcella!

Service was abrupt and operatic. Walked in toward the end of the lunch hour with a warm welcome. First visit. Ordered arancini, pizza, and a salad. The waitress who’d been sweet to my dog started yelling about something at another waitress in the kitchen. They both came out angry and when I asked for balsamic, one threw packets on my table, telling a third waitress that I was an idiot for have my cellphone out at lunch ( I was taking photos of the pizza to post here.) While I ate, I heard the first impatient grumpy waitress yelling in Italian about how I’d never finish eating. No one had told me they were closing when I came in at 2:30pm. The posted hours say they’re open until 3:30pm. Finally, I tried to eat as fast as I could and was ushered out of the dining room. I sat outside to finish my wine. The first waitress came by to chat with my dog again! Naples? There’s a lot of good pizza nearby. Unless you want it with a side of va fangulo it may not be worth the visit.
