10/05/2025: What can I say, every city has its iconic landmarks, those that tell its story. In Varese, La Romana is just this: an ice cream shop that has managed to become part of the city's identity. The ice cream conquers at the first taste, both in the creamy and fruit flavours. It's just a shame there isn't a real space to sit and enjoy it calmly... but perhaps this is also part of the Varesinità: standing under the portico, chatting with the cone in your hand.

07/05/2025: First ice cream of the season: pistachio, lady's kiss and zabaglione. Super quality. It's a shame that the prices are quite high, three flavors 4 euros, two flavors 3.5 euros.
