Pizza da asporto tutto sommato buona. Peccato che non accettano i pagamenti elettronici e sono dovuto tornare a casa a prendere i soldi per poi tornare in negozio a pagare per prendere le pizze. Anacronismo mascherato da ‘il lettore bancomat stasera è rotto’.

Solo contanti!!!! Ancora oggi nonostante sia obbligatorio avere i POS loro continuano a vendere solo con pagamento contanti! Assurdo!!!!!!!

Il Guelfo

07/08/2024: We had a nice lunch at Il Guelfo. We all had salads which were very pleasant and a good sized portion. Only one waitress was working so the service wasn’t the quickest. We were also annoyed to find out after eating that the card machine wasn’t working. We didn’t have any cash with us so had to go out and find a machine.
16/06/2024: Lovely meal and a great setting. Service was excellent. House rose was very good. Great to see so many swifts over the fort.

01/07/2024: We were looked after brilliantly having cycled up in the rain. Cappuccinos and vegetable soup were tasty but failed to warm us up. When the lady working there pointed out that there was a bus taking cyclists and their bikes down for 7€ we could have kissed her!!! I’m not sure our terrible Italian conveyed how grateful we are for her explaining about the bus… but grazie mille!
16/06/2024: Came with friends having cycled up the Gavia. The welcome was good and very friendly - expect very traditional Italian food which was well done. Coffee was very good and we were not rushed. Definitely welcome on a cold day!
