11/08/2024: The "Laterne" restaurant impresses with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that is suitable for both couples and families. The guest room is tastefully decorated, with warm colors and subtle lighting dominating, which conveys a feeling of security and well-being. The furnishings are a harmonious mix of rustic and modern, which underlines the charm of the restaurant. What is particularly striking is the loving decoration, which gives the restaurant its very own character. The cleanliness is also impeccable - tables and cutlery were in perfect condition.
**Service:**
The service in the “Lanterne” is also worth mentioning. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted and shown to a free table. The service was extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating without being intrusive. Our orders were taken quickly and we didn't have to wait long for our drinks or food. What was particularly positive was that the waitress regularly asked whether everything was to our satisfaction and also took time for a short conversation, which made the visit very personal.
**Food and Drink:**
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the pizza. The selection on the menu was varied, so there was something to suit every taste - from classic pizzas like Margherita and Quattro Stagioni to more creative variations. The pizza we ordered was excellent. The dough was perfect: thin, crispy and yet not dry. The topping was plentiful and of excellent quality - fresh ingredients that harmonized wonderfully in terms of taste. Of particular note was the tomato sauce, which was aromatic and flavorful without overpowering the other ingredients. The cheese was also present in just the right amount so that it didn't make the pizza too heavy but complemented its flavors perfectly.
As for the prices, the value for money was more than satisfactory. The pizza was not only delicious, but also inexpensive, which is not always a given these days. The drinks selection was also good, with a decent selection of wines and soft drinks offered at moderate prices.
**Conclusion:**
The “Laterne” restaurant is definitely worth a visit. It not only offers a pleasant atmosphere and excellent service, but also culinary delights at fair prices. This restaurant is an insider tip, especially for pizza lovers. The quality of the food, combined with the friendliness of the staff, ensures that you feel completely at home here. I will definitely come back and can recommend "Laterne" to anyone looking for an authentic and inexpensive pizzeria.
