The pizzas are incredible and the service is super friendly. 100% recommended if you're in Florence!

Friendly service, delicious pizzas, but overall it's expensive. There are other places with good pizzas at better prices. They charge for the service (as they do in almost all places, but I don't quite understand the mandatory tip). If there are people there, it takes a while to take your order and charge you.

Best pizza I've had in Florence so far! We had a calzone and the signature Pizzagnolo pizza, what a treat!
Regarding the Pizzagnolo, the basil and pistachio pesto base with ham and stracciatella is a true masterpiece!
The servers are also very welcoming. The setting is quiet (far from the historic center).

Nice atmosphere.
Very good pizzas.
However, I'm giving it 3 stars because I asked for the parmigiana on the menu and was told they didn't have it. Why keep something on the menu that isn't available?
I asked for bread to go with the Caprese salad (a dish), and they didn't have that either.
I asked for a cold macchiato, and they didn't have milk. A friend of mine asked if they had lactose-free mozzarella because she was lactose intolerant, and there wasn't.
They need to reconsider what they offer customers.
Good price... 3 waters, 4 pizzas, a Caprese salad, and a coffee, €77 for 5 people.

Pizzagnolo is quite possibly the best pizza joint in all of Firenze...and better than some of the higher ranked establishments, for sure. The four of us each ordered a different pie...only one was "white" or non-red sauce, and while it was pretty good I have to recommend that you get a pie with red sauce here. The marinara sauce is top notch...one of the best I've had and I've been eating pizza all of the friggin globe for many years. The owner was very kind and let our boys watch the action in the pizza oven up close. Their pies come out of the oven in about two minutes. You can't get food that is this high in quality that fast anywhere!

Good pizza option. We ordered takeout, and it took a while, but they gave us a discount when we paid. For spicy food lovers, the one in the photo will do.
