Pizza Gourmet In La spezia

We popped into this amazing restaurant for lunch today. Spectacular food and service. The vegetarian pizza was large (about 16 in/35 cm in diameter) and topped with eggplant, zucchini, and other wonderful veggies with a pesto sauce. The crust was crisp and thin. The seafood pasta dish was exquisitely made, and packed with mussels, clams, shrimps, and squid. My partner said it was the best seafood pasta he ever had. The bathrooms were clean and modern. We ended this perfect lunch with and Aperol spritz to go. Highly recommended.

Not a pleasant experience, we arrived at 8pm and were immediately seated, a stroke of luck is Saturday evening and the place does not accept reservations, we waited an hour to be served, in the outdoor area there will be around 20 seats, at my after about three quarters of an hour of waiting, the owner told me that those who had ordered takeaway had perhaps done so an hour or two earlier. We finally have dinner, the pizza was delicious as always, at the moment of paying 4 people get up from the tables near us to go and complain about the service, and we were told that they were born as a take-away pizzeria and that therefore this is their priority, it's fine you just need to know but when you sit down they have to tell you that there is the possibility that you will have to wait an hour because they have to serve the takeaway first.

Good variety of pizza, the staff is friendly and the prices are low.

We went to this pizzeria this summer and fell in love with it. It is a pizzeria specializing in take-away but with an external terrace where it is possible to eat and enjoy delicious pizzas and fried foods. For example, I recommend the crocche, taken twice because it was so good The pizzas are classic Neapolitan ones, light dough, excellent sauce and the possibility of filling the crust with ricotta, fiordilatte or smoked mozzarella The prices are really low in my opinion for the quality offered, I don't know what I would give to go back immediately

The food is very tasty, the atmosphere is also great, but the service leaves something to be desired... Instead of taking care of the customers, they often take care of themselves, have fun and laugh. After we sat down at the table offered to us by the staff, we waited a long time for the menu to be served. To sum up: good prices, very good food, as well as the atmosphere, the staff could be improved

I originally thought I wouldn't be able to finish the whole pizza by myself, but the taste was enough for me to eat every last bit of it.

Premesso che non amo la pizza napoletana, questa e' comunque, la migliore di La Spezia. Ci siamo andati 5 volte, quindi e' una recensione, che in verita' riassume varie esperienze. Essendo una pizzeria, basata sulla tradizione napoletana, ha l' antipasto dei fritti, che vi consiglio vivamente, perche' sono davvero fatti in casa, rispettosi della tradizione. Crocche' di patate e frittatina di pasta, da provare assolutamente. La pizza e' buona, se vi piace il genere, molto digeribile e con ingredienti di alta qualita' . I dolci sono fatti in casa e vi consiglio la delizia al limone, che abbiamo sempre trovato buonissima. Il servizio e' veloce anche se il locale e' completo. Il proprietario e' straordinariamente, cortese, ( visto che stiamo in Liguria) ed i prezzi sono proporzionati alla qualita'

Yep they do cracking pizzas here, simple is good and they do it really well. That said they have an extensive range of pizza toppings on offer, all priced around 6-7 euros. Pizzas are wood fired and the two we had were really good. Seating is on an outside terrace, so grab a delicious pizza and a beer and watch at least some of the world go by!
