Very tasty food and at a good price

Pizza Express was a great find! It's right next to the hotel where I'm staying! The beer is super reasonably priced for being in the center of Rome! I ordered a charcuterie board and it was very good for €10 – almost impossible to find anything at that price in the center of Rome with such good quality! I highly recommend this restaurant! The staff are very friendly!! 10 out of 10!

I had the seafood risotto at 1:30am (just after a flight)....SO GOOD.

Tried the veggie mushroom pizza and it was really tasty! The crust was nicely done, the toppings were fresh, and the mushrooms added a nice flavor. The portion size was generous, making it great value for the price. Overall, a satisfying and reasonably priced option for a good veggie pizza.

Two of us came in here. One had a pizza, the other the chicken dish. Pizza was good. Nothing to race about, but not bad. My partner had the chicken and was served with cooked orange slices and lemon. Damn! That was good. Chicken onjits own wasn't anything spectacular, but when mixed with a bit of the cooked orange or cooked lemon, with rind and all, it spun the flavour onto something quite fresh! Tasty and delicious. The place is on the main drag, so loads of tourists (some more loud than others) would appear and choose some of the pre-cooked pizzas that are sold by the weight. The assistant was friendly and very helpful (and had a funny and friendly attitude). Her English was faultless but I wanted to practise my Italian and she offered to help me to pronounce some of the plates in the menu. Quite fun little moments. Bathroom is unisex, and with a need to place a toilet seat (yes, only the ceramic part of the toilet was there, no plastic seat, nor plastic lead. This means that ladies would have to "perch" as a bird or aim from a distance. Both men and women would have issues for heavier needs. I enjoyed my stay here, and the food did give me a nice surprise.

The advantage of this bar is that it's near the train station. The disadvantages: slow service. The chefs aren't Italian and don't know how to prepare Italian dishes. Carbonara is dry pasta. Pizza with little sauce was also dry. The risotto at the next table was served; it was inedible. And the most original and professional 😉 was cleaning the espresso machine's portafilter with the tip of a teaspoon...

A Culinary Gem in the Heart of Rome! My recent visit to Pizza Express, located at Via Marsala 34/A-B, 00185 Roma, was an absolute delight from start to finish. Owned by the wonderful Hasan Md Nahid, this restaurant truly exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed lunch on August 22nd, 2025, around 1:17 PM. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive, making us feel incredibly welcome. Now, let's talk about the food! We indulged in a variety of dishes, and each one was a masterpiece: Linguine Pesto: Perfectly cooked pasta coated in a vibrant, fresh pesto sauce. A true taste of Italy! Bisteca Manzo: A succulent and tender steak, grilled to perfection. It practically melted in my mouth! Tiramisu: The classic Italian dessert was divine, creamy and rich with just the right balance of coffee and cocoa. To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a refreshing Cola Zero/Normale and a soothing Tea. The Arancia drinks were also a hit, bursting with citrusy flavor. The entire experience, from the friendly greeting to the final bite of Tiramisu, was exceptional. The total bill of 40.50 was more than reasonable for the quality and experience provided. Hasan Md Nahid and his team have created something special here. Pizza Express is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Italian flavors and a memorable dining experience in Rome. Highly, highly recommended!
