We spent 1 week in Monopoli, we had breakfast here every morning. The selection is huge, the service is impeccable. I recommend it to everyone with all my heart.

The gelato here was quite delicious. The mango flavor especially had a rich, intense flavor, like ripe mango flesh turned directly into gelato. At €3 for a large cup, I think it's reasonably priced for a tourist spot. Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi.

Cappuccino is good. The cocolate cake was very tasty and had a chocolate turron base, some kind of ricotta (i guess) cheese cake in the middle and a dark chocolate glazing, perfect match for a coffee. The frola was very good too with a nice aroma. Friendly staff.

Gieffe Dolce e Salato is an excellent place to shop in Monopoli: a wide selection of sweet and savory items, always fresh and tasty. Friendly staff and fast service. A few details could be improved, but it's still a reliable and highly recommended place. 🥐🍕

the deserts are ok. It's not great, but ok. The tea was a bit of a disappointment. It was cheap supermarket tea. But at least the price was reasonable. For the tea the cappuccino and 2 deserts we paid 10 euro. Would I recommend the place? Not really.

16/11/2025: We had lunch here for a family birthday. The first courses were good, the appetizers delicious, the scamorza passita wasn't exactly excellent. There's a wide selection of wines, also available by the glass. The only flaw is the amaro (bitter liqueurs). In my personal opinion, they lack a sophisticated selection of mountain herb amaro, and the selection of amaros offered was also missing. A corner of Abruzzo in the upper Susa Valley. A beautiful, rustic and characteristic restaurant, a typical mountain venue.
25/10/2025: Typical restaurant, very good, small and very efficient service, amazing food, I had ravioli stuffed with mushrooms with fondue and truffle, super fair price

19/11/2025: I recently had lunch at this restaurant. I ordered focaccia, tagliolini, and a beer. The focaccia was soft and well-leavened, while the first course was very flavorful. The most important thing is that I found the wait staff very welcoming; I was served by a very kind and helpful young man. I highly recommend it!
