Pizza e Pasta In Vercelli

17/07/2024: Renowned restaurant in Vercelli, with good availability of places on the street. Classic, slightly dated family-run place, with some attached rooms which I didn't use. I was on my lunch break, I liked the location, apart from the small garden from which the place takes its name, very nice but not huge which I couldn't try due to the heat of these days, there aren't many internal tables but the air conditioning makes your stay pleasant. Let me start by saying that I only tasted two starters, a first course and a dessert, but I wanted to write this review because I had a good time and I will definitely go back at the first opportunity. As starters I shared the Russian salad and the veal with tuna sauce as well as the culatello accompanied by pickles. All very good. First they prepared us an exquisite risotto with porcini mushrooms, perfectly blended, not at all buttery and perfectly cooked. At the entrance I was fascinated by the tarts (better to call them tarte tatin) in fact I found the apricot one delicious. Well assorted bread basket, especially the breadsticks are good. Helpful and attentive staff. Bathrooms a little cramped, but clean and well kept. Amex accepted. I will be back to try the other dishes on the menu.
