Fabulous pizza.. Friendly staff..

We recently got takeout from Pizzeria Pizza e Fichi, and while the pizza itself was solid, it wasn’t the standout experience we were hoping for.

Locale molto, molto grazioso, pulitissimo e con il gestore tra i più simpatici che ho conosciuto. Pizza favolosa, ottime mozzarelle di bufala provenienti dalla Campania, taglieri ed affettati di qualità, dessert squisito fatto in casa. Ah, dimenticavo: ottime birre. Prezzi assolutamente modici. Situato in pieno centro, a due passi dal Teatro. Bravi a tutti, dal gestore al pizzaiolo a tutti gli altri.

Small but welcoming place with good Roman pizza.

I was there with my husband for dinner on Thursday, we sat down and the waiter (a kind and polite guy) made us wait a long time to bring us the menu and then to take our orders. So I think they can improve on the service. The dough is ultra thin and crunchy, the margherita had little flavor, perhaps it was missing a little salt, but they don't save on the quantity. The calzone I ordered was packed with veggies and I really appreciated it. The room is small and the air conditioner is blasting hot air, so I would suggest lowering the temperature, because it is excellent for lovers of tropical climates but for example I was missing air. The prices are a little lower than average so very accessible and the menu is full of interesting combinations. The location is central and I recommend it for those who want to eat a light pizza and then take a nice walk in the historic center.
