There's not much to say: I think I've found my pizzeria in Verona. Fair prices and generous portions, it's truly a great deal. I ordered on Just Eat because of a discount coupon I had, set delivery for 8:40 PM, but after 2 seconds it was postponed to 8:55 PM. I called the restaurant and a lady politely answered and asked for clarification. She told me they take their deliveries generously, trying to give those 15 minutes extra than the requested time (fair enough). I didn't argue, thanked her and was about to close, but she told me they'd do everything they could to get there before 8:55 PM. The effort was greatly appreciated. I thanked her and closed the door. The delivery man rang the doorbell at 8:45 PM. Really good guys! Much appreciated. He was extremely courteous and a good guy with a desire to work. I left a tip because I appreciated his calm demeanor despite the cold outside and the hectic work schedule, so an excellent choice of delivery driver. The pizzas are large (I ordered four large Margherita pizzas with regular dough and a regular crust; you can have them with double dough or with a crust filled with mozzarella or mozzarella and truffle... But who actually makes that in Verona? I'll answer: no one) and, most importantly, with plenty of mozzarella. I ask for two with sauce and two without, specifying that in the options to show to the seller. It's incredible... they even read those... again, but who makes that? I always answer: no one. The pizzas are cooked well on the base (they were NOT BURNED, in fact the first time I order I never specify to be careful about cooking, usually I do it after the burnt pizzas have arrived, I try to put myself in the pizza chef's shoes, it can happen once, I order the second and I SPECIFY TO YOU THAT I DO NOT WANT THEM BURNED, if they are still burnt I will change restaurants, because to be honest, money does not grow on trees and when I pay I also want to eat without risks to my health) and they are very light, there are 4 of us and we like to eat, the pizzas were eaten with gusto even though they were for 8 (since a large one is for two) and were digested within about 2 and a half hours, it is true that they were margheritas, but if the dough sucks or the ingredients suck you turn to the 2 liter bottle of water and when you finish you open another, here it did not happen and we went to bed peacefully and smiling. The dough stays soft even when the pizza is cold. Only they know how they do it, it's a mystery. Order from this pizzeria blindly, they know their job. Recommended? No, highly recommended! My next pizza delivery order is already booked. The photo shows the quarter of a white pizza (the only one) left from mine, just to give you an idea of ​​how soft it is even when cold and even the next day, how well cooked the base and the mozzarella are. Takeout pizzeria on the banks of the Adige River, in downtown Verona near the university area. The pizza is delicious, and I found it to be excellent value for money! They also deliver. Highly recommended!

I often eat at Aldo's because the pizza is so good. They're very punctual with deliveries, and the staff is always very friendly. Of course, if anyone has issues with takeout delivery times on holidays, it seems obvious to me that on a day when there are so many orders, ordering at the last minute seems unwise. Speaking of food, the interior of this pizzeria, which for years was only a takeout place, is beautiful: everything is meticulously designed, down to the smallest details, and it feels like home.

Ordered 3 takeout pizzas. They arrived 5 minutes late, but that wasn't a problem for us; it happens at work. Very good pizza, the delivery guy was very kind. 5 stars, well deserved. Well done!
