Piovono Bombette In Brescia

I go back when I stop for a few nights in the city, typical Apulian food, spartan and original environment, really kind and sunny owner who makes you feel like you're one of the family! Try it!!!

I went to this place on Saturday for dinner. An excellent place to eat typical Apulian dishes. Very friendly staff and above all fast. You can eat both inside and outside, plus the kitchen is open to view. There were two of us and we took a platter of typical Apulian cheeses, caciocavallo melted in earthenware and a mix of Apulian bombette. Excellent quality of ingredients. I will definitely go back and recommend it for anyone who wants to try Apulian cuisine.

Locale accogliente e pulito. Pochi poati meglio prenotare. Ottima cucina pugliese,in particolare carni e formaggi. Titolare cordiale , attento e simpatico. Personale gentile e servizio ottimo. Buoni vini e birre. Prezzi simpatici. Da provare il caciocavallo fuso e i turcinelli!

E' stata una piacevolissima serata in questo bel locale in Via San Faustino in cui il titolare si fa valere per gentilezza e simpatia. Cena ovviamente a base di piatti tipici pugliesi: eccezionali le bombette, mangiate in grande quantità ma da sottolineare anche la bontà delle orecchiette alle cime di rapa, gustose e piccanti il giusto, delle salsiccette e di un bel pasticciotto leccese caldo e profumato. Prezzo assolutamente adeguato. Era la prima volta ma non sarà di certo l'ultima....

This was one of the places we got recommended to go and try the food. We managed to get a table during a busy weekend, the place was full at all time, people just going out and their seats got filled soon after. The atmosphere is welcoming and cosy, the staff is friendly. We ordered a mix of starters which was quite good, a variety of different flavours. For main we ordered a mix of bombette, which are sort of wrapped pork, the difference between them was the topping they came with. They were all quite good. We also ordered a side of potatoes to go with them which were tasty but at the end got overpowered by saltines in both dishes. We also got orecchiette alle cime di rapa, which was a little bit too bitter on its own which came from the turnip greens. They did however work nicely with the bombette. Overall the food was good, I would especially recommend this place if you really like pork.
