A couple's lunch at this excellent restaurant. Despite being quite far from my place of residence, it was on our itinerary. The restaurant is very elegant, clean, chic, and welcoming. The staff is kind, courteous, and very professional, but also very helpful. The menu is excellent with a wide selection. The quality of the ingredients and the presentation are top-notch. We opted for the four-course "Geppetto" menu. Everything was truly exceptional, starting with the off-menu welcome aperitifs. All the courses deserve a more detailed explanation, but I'd go on too long. As for "sweet tooth," I'd recommend the zabaglione dessert served in a hot copper pan, as pictured. Truly surprising. Even the price, while certainly not cheap, perfectly reflects the quality/quantity of the dishes. I don't know when, considering the distance of about 150 km, but we plan to return as soon as possible. Full marks.

A historic venue, but a bit dated. The service is discreet and very attentive. As for the wine list, it's excellent (all Piedmontese wines are there!). The food: excellent bagna calda (not inconsiderable price), the iconic dish of the president's agnolotti was a real treat, as was the zabaglione. Expect to pay around €90 for a €30 bottle.

The entrance is beautiful, with its staircase and large fireplace. The rooms are spacious but a bit dated. The service is welcoming and friendly. Paola, the hostess, is superb and convivial. The menu is inspired by the local cuisine, and you shouldn't miss the agnolotti and egg pasta. The cheese trolley is superb, and the zabaglione is a must. I recommend it! 🙂

Good food and friendly service. The cuisine isn't particularly surprising, but it's well-executed. The atmosphere is a bit dated, and a redesign could enhance the experience much more. Overall, we had a good time.

The restaurant's interior is quite dated; a refresh wouldn't hurt. We had a large table; most of the dishes were good, but nothing truly wow-worthy for the price; in fact, some weren't that great. The waiter who looked after us was professional. Overall, the prices are a little high, in my opinion.

I was there with my partner, a surprise he told me 🌻🙂. Well yes, a very beautiful location, I felt on cloud nine, a very quiet and romantic restaurant. 🥂 Refined and excellent dishes, everything served down to the smallest details, very attentive. Thank you so much ❤️

A historic restaurant with a solid tradition thanks to the mastery of Piero Bertinotti, now assisted in the kitchen by his nephew Francesco. A restaurant that once graced the most prestigious food guides, a true cult place for Veronelli, today maintains that allure of class and tradition. Succulent "President's" ravioli (an award-winning dish dedicated to former President Giorgio Napolitano). Excellent beef fillet cooked in hay flowers with Bordeaux sauce. Amazing meringue ice cream with warm zabaglione. A very interesting wine list with truly special labels. The garden adjacent to the restaurant is beautiful, but could use a little more attention.

12/10/2025: We stopped there for a beer and an espresso. We stopped for a quick break during a hike around the lake. We received a friendly welcome and were given a spot by the lake. The coffee and beer arrived quickly... They were delicious. They also served a small plate of bread and cheese... Great! ... We'd love to come back.

28/01/2026: Great place for a work lunch break
18/01/2026: Sunday lunch, we made a reservation for 13, there are four of us, we arrived and were shown to the veranda, which is a very beautiful glass structure. The menu was announced by the kind owner, and from the suggestions, we opted for three house appetizers to share: a pisarei e fasò, a portion of caserecce zola and hazelnuts, plus a half portion, and a pork shank escalope with prunes. The appetizer consisted of a platter of cured meats, prosciutto, salami, and coppa piacentina, a homemade giardiniera, meatballs, lard, pancetta, and a semi-fresh tomino cheese, all very good and in more than adequate portions. Sparkling water and house red wine were served. The first courses were also good; the pisarei leaned a bit sweet, but that's their characteristic. The second course was truly delicious, soft and flavorful, paired with the sweet flavor of the stewed prunes. There's no dessert, we're too full, so we'll end here. Everything was very good, the atmosphere pleasant, and the service fast and discreet. The bill was a solid €100 with a small discount, not bad at all.
