Pierino Penati's restaurant delighted us. We were celebrating the new job of one of our roommates and we couldn't have chosen a better place: the egg appetizer was delicious. In addition, the service was very friendly, because even if not everyone had ordered the first course, everyone was given a taste. How nice it is to go to a place where you eat elaborate recipes, but with a very high sense of humanity towards the customer.

Traditional restaurant where I always feel very good. Cuisine with traditional dishes, revised and modern. Fabulous Milanese cutlet with corn flour breading that makes it very tasty. Present, polite and very helpful staff. During the Christmas and Easter periods they have desserts on the menu and their high quality leavened products for sale.
The only thing I would improve, perhaps, would be a modernization of the restaurant that feels the weight of the years.

Given that food is also culture, I believe that, especially in some restaurants, it is necessary to take the right approach.
Maestro Pierino Penati's starred restaurant undoubtedly reflects his and Theo's personality, who is following his father's path, in turn bringing character, style and innovation, yet with respect for tradition.
This restaurant must be approached with great respect and admiration for those who, with other contemporaries, have invented a sublime and unique way of doing catering: something that only we in Italy are able to create.
So, when you have the pleasure and, I would add, the privilege of going to this restaurant, do not bring noisy and rude children running between the tables (well-behaved children are welcome everywhere); don't go there with the idea of having a tavern caciara and above all don't be surprised if, as a first approach, a very elegant waiter brings you a soft sandwich with a slice of local salami to your table.
The sandwich is a symbolic gesture by chef Pierino which has a profound meaning linked to a food that originates from the Brianza tradition.
Describing here the dishes offered and the food served is superfluous because these are, in fact, dishes absolutely out of the ordinary, prepared with carefully selected and exquisite ingredients, used with great skill, today by Theo.
Specifically, I asked for tagliatelle that were very al dente, despite knowing that homemade pasta has a different consistency than industrial pasta and therefore apparently does not seem to hold up when cooked.
After finishing the dish, the chef asked me if the cooking was OK, with an approach of great kindness and humility.
For dessert I opted for zabaglione, so skilfully prepared that it brought me back to my grandmother's arms when, as a child, she made me taste it (contains Vermouth).
Approaching this restaurant with the right awareness and due respect is a unique and truly priceless experience.

Cibo eccellente, dall'inizio alla fine. Un "prosecco" piacentino con sentori di pesca che non smetterei mai di bere. Servizio perfetto e curato. Grazie per il bellissimo pranzo, per le torte di compleanno fatte apposta per i miei figli. Torneremo presto!

Eravamo stati bene e siamo stati nuovamente molto bene!
I classici vi tenteranno sicuramente.
Non facile scegliere perchè tutto è decisamente invitante.
Assaggiato risotto nelle due versioni, ottimi.
la "milanese".... e squisiti dolci.
Ambiente piacevole, tranquillo.
