We went to the Piccolo lago for a special occasion and chef Marco and his staff accompanied us on a truly suggestive "gastronomic itinerary" by the lake.

Si mangia davvero bene in questo noto ristorante in riva al lago. La sua fama è decisamente meritata, a cominciare dalla stupenda location. Solo qualche (minima) sbavatura sul servizio, ma per il resto un'esperienza di ottimo livello. Anche il rapporto qualità /prezzo non è affatto male, tenuto conto della tipologia di locale.

Grazie a tutto lo staff del Piccolo lago che ci ha regalato un pranzo davvero emozionante per festeggiare un compleanno importante! L'esperienza chef table è stata bellissima, vedere la brigata all'opera sotto l'attenta guida dello chef Sacco è impagabile! La sua cucina innovativa e molto originale e la sua presenza cordiale e semplice ci ha fatto sentire parte del loro mondo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e location elegante e con vista lago meravigliosa....torneremo sicuramente!

In the evening spent on the lakeside veranda, we tasted a menu chosen by our company. Excellent service, great wine pairing. In the photos the second course of red meat with aubergine (the latter is the one I liked least from the menu) and chocolate dessert with corn flakes, crunchy dessert with contrasting flavours. Missing from the photos is the carbonara risotto, served with egg sauce served in the shell. Colleagues with intolerances or vegetarians had a separate menu.

Charming restaurant, ⭐️⭐️ Michelin overlooking Lake Mergozzo just a few minutes from Lake Maggiore. Beautiful location with attention to the smallest details where chef MARCO SACCO IS THE MASTER. Excellent raw material, new and extraordinary flavours. I took the LAKEFRONT menu IN WHICH YOU CAN FIND ALL THE FLAVORS AND TASTES OF THE PRODUCTS FOUND ALONG
OR THE LAKE. While my husband chose some courses. The chef is also the owner of the PIANO 35 RESTAURANT in Turin. This year the PICCOLO LAGO RESTAURANT celebrates 50 years of activity (a business started by the chef's parents). A place where the mind reunites with the heart, giving life to an explosion of flavours

I went to this restaurant for a wedding. Therefore I cannot judge the canonical tasting of selected menus.
However, I can judge how much I ate, buffet starters, first course, second course and dessert, including wedding cake and buffet.
The quantities were generous and the quality of the food was good.
