20/04/2026: We visited this restaurant on Sunday, April 19, 2026, as a group of six friends at 1:30 PM. The maître d' recommended the dishes, and we were guided through an experience that left us completely satisfied.
The restaurant is located on the Genoa waterfront, with parking for about 20 cars. The exterior is "improveable," surrounded by a construction site and dilapidated buildings... (I imagine it's not their fault, given the care with which the place is managed).
The six of us were quickly seated at a round table, and a kind and attentive waiter immediately served us still and sparkling water, warm focaccia, and fragrant breadsticks.
The photos don't do the exquisiteness of the dishes justice.
Grilled octopus tentacles on a saffron potato cream, delicate, melt-in-the-mouth octopus. Each dish deserves a detailed description, with ingredients whose flavors blend perfectly, and compliments also for the plating.
If I really had to find a flaw in all this attention to detail, where the lady who oversees the management of the place proved to be affable and helpful, the kindness of the "classic" can we offer 'coffee' at the end of the meal on a bill of this €335... for 3 menus of the day + 3 appetizers and 2 first courses... In the end we paid €65 each 😉 It would have been appreciated even for the manner alone, but we are in Liguria, not Brescia 😉😅
Attached are photos of everything we ate. At the end of the meal, with the coffees, we were offered the evening meat menu, which we will consider for a next visit.
