Piccole Ore...Pizza e Altro In Bari

A pleasant, well-kept atmosphere. Typical, home-cooked Apulian cuisine of excellent quality. Highly recommended.

Upon the recommendation of two Baresi, who were looking for a family-friendly place with authentic Bari cuisine at a fair price, we were given the Piccole Ore restaurant as our first choice. Being guests of a nearby B&B, we decided to kick off our stay with a delicious plate of "Orecchiette e rape." A generous plate of fresh pasta, rich and delicious, but even more so, we were won over by the restaurant's owners, Mrs. Lisa and Mr. Nicola, who were so kind and genuinely attentive that they made us feel at home. During the four dinners we spent at Piccole Ore, we had the opportunity to sample a variety of specialties: pizza, pasta dishes, appetizers of all kinds, panzerotti, and even the house wine, which was enthusiastically introduced to us by Mr. Nicola, always available to share the history of his strictly local products and Bari cuisine. He always had a wonderful light in his eyes, clearly demonstrating the authenticity of the offerings. Personally, I'd recommend a visit to anyone who wants to experience genuine and authentic local cuisine, without being ripped off (financially speaking) by some "foodporn" tourist trap. A little slow in service even though it wasn't full.

I went there with friends on Tuesday evening. The place was cozy and the staff were courteous and friendly. The appetizers were excellent and plentiful. 😋😋😋 The pizza was generous and EXCELLENT. 😋😋 Highly recommended.
