Piccola Osteria Andes In Mantova

I recently visited Osteria Andes and can say without hesitation that it was a truly extraordinary experience. As soon as you enter, you immediately sense the authentic atmosphere of a true Mantuan osteria: a welcoming, warm, and refined environment where you immediately feel at ease. The staff is extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to recommend dishes and wines with great passion. The cuisine is simply spectacular. Each dish reflects local tradition with quality ingredients and evident care in preparation. From the typical Mantuan first courses to the richly flavorful second courses, everything is prepared to perfection. The flavors are authentic, balanced, and truly memorable. The wine list is also very well chosen and perfectly complements the dishes. The love for good food and local gastronomic tradition is clearly evident. A place I would definitely recommend to anyone passing through Mantua and wanting a true Mantuan culinary experience. I will definitely be back! Sunday lunch with friends while visiting Mantua. Everything was delicious: appetizers, Mantuan ravioli, and desserts. The service was excellent and fast, and the owners were courteous and kind. This small, family-run restaurant in the center of Mantua was excellent.

We're spending the day in Mantua and weren't sure where to eat! We discovered this friendly and charming place to eat; both the place and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Delicious traditional food and impeccable service!

The service wasn't very attentive, the portions were very small, and the prices were out of proportion for the quantity and quality. We weren't particularly impressed with the food, so I wouldn't return.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on our way back from a short vacation in Bolzano. SURPRISE! Very pleasant! Delicious local dishes; warm and relaxed atmosphere, just what we needed. All accompanied by a chilled house Lambrusco. I recommend the simple yet flavorful risotto alla pilota. I also recommend the Elvezia dessert (it was off the menu at the time).
