Day with grandparents in Mantua who took me to lunch at this restaurant where they had also been the night before (to go back the next day I would say that they must not have been so bad!).
Really courteous staff. Due to OUR mistake, caused by a misunderstanding with my relatives while ordering, I received a dish that was not the one I had chosen. Very kindly, they immediately took care of changing it without any hesitation.
The traditional dishes were really excellent, such as maccheroncini allo stracotto and pike in green sauce. They even had my favorite dessert: chocolate cake with a zabaglione made to perfection!

Probably one of the best taverns in Mantua. The value for money is really excellent, with a very wide variety of dishes. The location is very suggestive and comfortable even when the room is particularly crowded. Not to mention the staff, always ready to put you at ease and to meet any need, they are also friendly enough to exchange a few jokes or a few words. If you want to live a pleasant gastronomic experience in beautiful Mantua, for me this is an obligatory stop.

Abbiamo mangiato i piatti tipici della tradizionale cucina mantovana, in particolare i maccheroni con lo stufato d’asina, super consigliato!

Estremamente consigliato. Locale intimo, ti fa sentire a casa. Abbiamo preso due primi tipici Mantovani entrambi superbi (risotto alla pilota e tortelli di zucca) continuando poi con la selezione di formaggi e marmellate. Ho chiesto la mostarda visto che un collega mi aveva consigliato di assaggiarla ed è stata la chicca della sera.. me ne sono innamorata. Dolci buonissimi, personale attento e cordiale. Davvero complimenti! E grazie per l'indimenticabile serata
