My wife and I were basically the non Italian people in the restaurant so I guess we had some authentic Florentine food. Food was good and atmosphere was good.

The tripe stew here is seriously delicious! Haha. I went after getting a recommendation from my snap photo guide, who made a reservation for me over the phone! I was recommended the four dishes below, and I ordered the two above: Pici Tegamino Tagliata con acciugata Tiramisù The Pici noodles were thick and had a nice tangy flavor, and the portion was huge! The tripe stew tastes like Gamjatang (pork bone soup). The broth is incredibly savory 🫶 It is a restaurant worth visiting at least once!

If you want authentic, you'll find it here. The folks giving this low stars must be some of my fellow Americans who are looking for what every other restaurant in the area serves. The food was incredible. My family of 8 was well taken care of and the ambiance in the crypt (lower floor) was amazing. We only have several days in Florence, but we will be sure to come back here before we leave!

If you're looking for an authentic Florentine restaurant with home-style cooking, this is exactly the place to go! We've been going for several years and have never been disappointed. Reservations are highly recommended. There's a small terrace. The restaurant is rustic and authentic. Don't miss it!

Came here because I saw a 1 star review from an American woman who said she got terrible food and service cause she was a tourist. Had a very memorable pappardelle pasta here with a wild boar ragù and the service was fab.

We found this place 4 years ago, by accident while trying to get out of a rain storm. It was SOO amazingly good that we couldn’t stop thinking about it. So we actually came back to Florence JUST to eat at this restaurant. Their cinghiale (wild boar) is a masterpiece!! We’ve eaten it both ways that they serve it. We are going back to try their Bistecca alla Fiorentina. This is best kept secret in Florence!! Not $$ either!!
