Entrando in questo ristorante sembra di tornare indietro di 40 anni. Dall’ arredamento tavoli stoviglie, divise dei camerieri e menù. Fondamentalmente non si mangia male, ma è un locale in cui ci andrei solo se invitato.

Entrare in questo ristorante è come usare la macchina del tempo. Si entra nel passato, in quel passato fatto di ristorazione solida, per famiglie che mangiano. Arredi d’antan, tavoli apparecchiati come Dio comanda,camerieri in giacca bianca, attenti, onnipresenti, efficienti, gentili. Cucina solida, di tradizione. Uso dei carrelli, quasi archeologico. Piatti che soddisfano. Ogni tanto, uno sfizio proposto in più. Carta dei vini esaustiva, con pochi ricarichi. Insomma, se volete mangiare bene, senza fronzoli, rispettando la cucina fondamentale, non potete non andare.

No sooner said than done, I returned a few days before Easter to take the grandchildren from Rome out for dinner, I confirm the flat reviews in the photos

01/04/2024: We went for dinner one evening this week, on the recommendation of a friend. At first glance we were a bit surprised: there were two of us and our table was less than 10cm from the table of the couple next to us, plus when they came to take our order we felt snubbed. But then the food arrived: everything was incredibly good, it definitely overturned the initial sensation. It's also great that we are well prepared to have any leftover food taken away.
