A typical Valsesian restaurant specializing in grilled meats. The Fassona steak tartare is prepared right before your eyes, with the addition of egg yolk and various sauces if desired. Not cheap, but good value. The wine cellar could be improved.

Recommended by friends, we had lunch with a small group at Pianebelle on a Sunday in August, with reservations required. The service was extremely courteous and helpful. The atmosphere was formal but not overly so, and pleasant. For my appetizer, I tried a wonderful beef tartare, masterfully prepared before our eyes. Truly delicious, highly recommended. The wonderful split trout was served with grilled vegetables and sautéed potatoes. The portions were generous, even for my companions. Worth mentioning was the inviting blueberry risotto and another with seafood. A very affordable tasting menu is also available, in addition to the à la carte selection. I will definitely be back to try many other delicacies.
