Excellent takeaway piadini made to order from a long list of choices. Some outdoor seating and a few seats inside, too. Very popular with students. There's often a line but it's worth the wait.

The food is excellent, very wide choice.
Clean place and friendly, helpful staff; unfortunately the internal space is a bit limited, but there are tables outside if the weather permits.

Non ci siamo scoraggiati per la lunghissima fila, ma questo è già sinonimo di qualita. Soprattutto quando vedi anche gente del posto che prende la sua crescia. Il cibo è stato ottimo, personalmente non ho gradito i tavoli posti all’esterno, in pendenza, con le auto che ti passano a 10 cm. Insomma, consigliato ma Takeaway.

Of its kind, original and appetizing food since the crescia (which I understood to be a type of focaccia, a low leavened dough related to the piadina) here is flaky and therefore fatter than the Umbrian torte al testo. In this piadineria it is stuffed in a whimsical variety of combinations that leave you puzzled in the choice. Prices range from €6 to €10 depending on the filling. It is served divided into two parts. There are few seats inside. Outside, if the weather is good, there are tables and seats in front of the entrance, along the downhill street. Recommended when you are hungry for energetic flavours. Quick and attentive owners.

During our visit to Urbino (family of 6 people) we took advantage of the Piadineria L'aquilone, given the positive reviews, which I fully confirm. When we arrived at 12.30, there was already quite a queue, but we didn't let that scare us.
We ate our food after more than an hour but the wait was worth it. Soft, warm and well filled, all the variations chosen were exceptional including the two Nutella ones at the end.
The gentleman in charge of distribution was calm and not at all imperturbable (given the endless queue in front and especially behind us), but my highest appreciation goes to the lady in charge of preparation, "A WAR MACHINE", fast and organized in managing all the verbal orders of the colleague. Sincere compliments, if I return to Urbino I know where to eat. Thank you.
