We had dinner at Phoenicia this evening, and it was exactly what we expected. We ordered two tasting menus, one with roast lamb and the other with butter-aged fillet. The lamb was out of this world, incredibly tender and flavorful, as was the fillet, which was simply spectacular! First, we were served 7-8 appetizers, delicious falafel and hummus. Everything was top-quality and expertly prepared, and you could tell. Last but not least, despite the restaurant being packed, the service was impeccable and precise, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Congratulations, we'll definitely be back!

I'm young, so I've never tried a Lebanese restaurant, only the classic shawarma mids they sell everywhere. I came all the way from Lecce to try Habibi's famous shawarma, and I have to say the lamb one was spectacular. Last but not least, Habibi is a wonderful person who welcomes you with wonderful energy, not to mention the staff, who are truly kind and helpful. Next time I'll definitely be back to try the tasting menu. 🔥💪

Various highlights and some shadows! The tomahawk, fillet, and kafta were good (the latter fabulous, the best I've tried so far), the ribs were a no-no (dry, burnt), good Lebanese wine, and very good hummus, too. We didn't like the baklava (too sweet and lacking in flavor), but we did like the dessert by the glass. Overall, I'd go back!

I've been frequenting this restaurant since 2020. The quality has remained the same, and the prices are in line with today's market. Here you can savor many dishes and excellent Lebanese wines. I recommend separating the two formats into two separate, distant buildings. I forgot, it's the best Lebanese food around!

Always very good libanese food. If you got the set menu you really get full with appetizers (8 of them) and then meat of several types. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere but now they have a sort of bistro so a little more crowded and noisy

We went to Phoenicia Restaurant. Outside the restaurant, there were people waiting for the Habibi fast food joint, but we wanted to try the restaurant. We initially wanted to try four appetizers from the menu and then the roast lamb. When ordering, the waiter directed us to the tasting menu of the famous slow-cooked lamb for 45 euros (which included more appetizers, but obviously fewer pieces or smaller portions). The tasting menu began with appetizers, which consisted of hummus, moussaka, Arab salad, labne, falafel, ouar'a'a inab, rakakat cheese, and tabbouleh. I really enjoyed the appetizers. The falafel were very crispy and flavorful, accompanied by tahini sauce. I found the falafel delicious with a light flavor, as were all the spreads. Compared to other Lebanese restaurants, I found a lighter flavor here, which can be a flaw for some and an asset for others, depending on their taste. Next, we tried the slow-cooked or oven-roasted lamb. For my personal taste, I found it light in flavor and didn't even taste like lamb. If I hadn't ordered it, I would have mistaken it for beef. For my taste, the lamb flavor was missing, and I was expecting a stronger flavor (which I like), but here too, I found a mellow flavor. It's basically as if the flavor that lamb usually has compared to other meats had been removed, resulting in a light flavor, like boiled beef. Finally, for dessert, we had the Dubai Chocolate in a jar, and it was addictive. I could have eaten two. The top was chocolate pudding with khetaifi on top, while the bottom was Dubai Chocolate, which provided the crunch and sand that contrasted in the mouth, making it a real treat. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try Abbas's infamous lamb shawarma or the roast goat, which had piqued my curiosity; we were too full. If I have the opportunity, I'll go back to try what I didn't get to try. If I have one criticism, and where they could improve, it's the table service. The waiter who served us didn't explain what appetizers would be on the tasting menu. In fact, we thought we'd get the appetizers we'd chosen, but instead we got something else. Then, during the service, both we and the table in front of us asked for water at least 10 times, and on the 11th occasion, it arrived. At the end of the dinner, the waiter offered us amaro (but unfortunately, it never arrived). At 10:30, they brought the bill to our table without asking, and in the meantime, they were already setting the other free tables, as if to say, "You have to vacate your table." I found this a bit disrespectful towards us as customers, given that we'd arrived at 9:15 PM and had chosen the second sitting precisely to be more relaxed. Another thing I noticed was that the waiters were a bit pushy, eager to clear the plates, from the appetizer to the main course, and it bothered me a bit, as if it were a race to get the dinner over with as quickly as possible. As for the combination of appetizers and the roast lamb, given how much it's being pushed on social media and YouTubers, I expected something more that would make me say "wow," but instead I still found everything very good and of high quality, but not to my delight in the taste. Obviously, this is just a personal, subjective opinion. My rating for Phoenicia is 7.5/10 because I would still like to go back to try other things that I haven't tried, such as the Lamb Shawarma, and I was also curious about the Baked Kid which is rarely found.

Macelleria Popolare

11/03/2026: Although it's a butcher shop, you can grill and eat on the spot. I tried something like an innards skewer. It's similar to Japanese yakitori, but Italian offal dishes are a little different. Exploring these kinds of local ways of eating is what makes walking around Europe so interesting.
11/03/2026: Excellent experience at Marcerie Popolare – Milan. We tried the homemade tiramisu with artisanal mascarpone, and it was truly exceptional: creamy, fresh, and full of flavor. The wine selection was also very good, well-chosen and perfect to accompany dessert. A place where you can taste the quality of the products and the attention to detail. We'll definitely be back.
