Petito Pastry In Castellanza

Excellent pastry shop, I went for lunch. I ate very well at the right price! Welcoming atmosphere and very friendly and smiling staff!

We went for an aperitif on the evening of February 20th. Everything was fine, both the food and the drinks (non-alcoholic), but at 8:15 pm, a lady came in and started sweeping the carpet right around our table while we were still finishing our food... right in front of the people behind the counter. Now, I think that's not exactly the right thing to do, sweeping and raising dust while people are still eating... I was hoping the appropriate people would do something, but nothing... Let me be clear: I'm not blaming the lady who was cleaning, because she was obviously under orders to do so. If I return and this happens again, I'll report it. I hope the owners read my review and remedy this unpleasant situation.

Plenty of seating, a wide selection of sweet and savory options at any time. Croissants are also available in the afternoon. Excellent coffee, and a wide selection of drinks for aperitifs. The place is very nice, the only downside is the price: a single portion of any kind now costs €8 (even small ones), with an aperitif costing €12. It certainly comes with a little food, but it's excessive. With lower prices, it would definitely deserve 5 stars.

Nice place, good croissants and friendly staff

Upon entering this pastry shop, you'll be struck by the large counter, where you can admire a wide variety of pastries, croissants, and various desserts, which will instantly make your mouth water. Pizzas, focaccias, and breads are also available. We tried the ricotta croissant and the pistachio Veneziana: truly exceptional. The cappuccino is also very well-made. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered (from €1.50 to €2.20 for croissants, €1.60 for cappuccino).

Today, I had a snack at Petito. The place is really cool, everything perfect, beautiful product display, excellent lighting, music at the right volume so that communication between diners is smooth, and the staff is very friendly and wore top-notch uniforms. My order was: a very good hot black tea and a crunchy sfogliatella, with just the right amount of cinnamon but a slightly sparse filling. Everything was really perfect, but in my opinion they should increase the filling inside. I will definitely be back, hoping that next time it will be a wow factor.
