18/05/2025: The review concerns the restaurant only.
It is located in Pescallo, a village of Bellagio.
From Bellagio you take Salita Cappuccini and in a few minutes you arrive in this splendid and picturesque village.
Asked to have lunch outside.
Perfect location.
The outside of the restaurant is practically on Lake Como.
Chosen as an appetizer an octopus in a crust that was nothing short of excellent.
I cannot write the same judgment for the risotto with perch: good, but not more, the perch.. barely adequate risotto and curry sauce, separate from the dish, which in my opinion did not fit very well.
Good choice of wines, I took a glass of white wine.
I would avoid the coffee.
For what was described I spent 64 euros per person.. a cost that I can accept for the location, service and appetizer.. I would have fully agreed if the risotto with perch had been better.
4 stars, would be 3½, affected by the risotto.

02/05/2025: This small, personally run hotel is particularly impressive at first glance
through one. The peace and quiet away from the west side of Bellagio. If you want to go here, you can get there in about 10-15 minutes via stairs and alleys.
The check-in is very professional. Parking situation and opening times of the in-house restaurant are well explained. The employee even accompanied us to the room and explained everything.
Our room was on the 2nd floor.
Easily accessible via steps, we found a modern room with a huge bed, modern bathroom and air conditioning and fan. The small balcony facing the lake offers space for a table and 2 chairs and invites you to relax
stay at all times of the day. Enjoy the first rays of sunshine in the morning and pleasantly shady from midday onwards. This also applies to the in-house terrace, which is shaded by a wine pergola. Here you can enjoy a wonderful, simple Italian breakfast (everything you need to start the day) with excellent coffee from a portafilter machine.
The dinner a la carte was not a Germanized pizza or pasta mess but rather classic Italian.
The staff was friendly and accommodating and if you criticize that no one spoke German, please ask yourself where you are going on vacation. A little effort and willingness when ordering in the local language will probably be possible. In any case, we were impressed by the authenticity.
In fact, it is our unreserved recommendation to give this wonderful little hotel a try. However, if you have difficulty climbing stairs, you should discuss this with the staff beforehand.
We were deeply impressed by our 2 nights and would love to come back.
