This is our second time here on this holiday. Brugnato's excellent cuisine is combined with Simona's excellent service. With her friendliness, charisma, and beautiful smile, she makes us feel at home and at home. 100% recommended. If you come to Brugnato in La Spezia, this is a must-stop if you want to eat very well and at excellent prices.

Wonderful evening! Whenever I come to Italy I try to eat at Pesto e Mortaio at least once, and this time I went with my family. Simona and Laura always make us feel at home! The food isn't 5 stars, it's 10 stars! Thank you Simona and Laura for making our family dinners so enjoyable! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Margherita with oregano was definitely not the best! It's a shame because the trofie with pesto was exceptional. The place was small and incredibly hot. We could have ordered more, but it was too hot.

Good pizza, service could be improved. We had a wait (the table needed clearing), so we left for three minutes to avoid standing there (and asked the lady to save our table, which she said of course). When we returned, someone else had sat down in our place, and the lady didn't even offer an explanation. Fine. We sat at another table (also in need of clearing), and after ten minutes, the lady came to clear it. She was keen to share her personal statistics: guests always tend to sit at tables that need clearing, not at free ones (there weren't any!), struggling desperately to clear their table. Maybe treating customers better would be nice.
