My favorite seafood restaurant in Salerno, a small place with just a few tables, a real gem. Delicious dishes and incredibly fresh fish. When I want to eat well, and seafood, I always come here. My favorite dish: pacchero with blue lobster. :)

Everything was perfect. The octopus with ricotta mousse and orange and cinnamon marmalade was a journey through space. Everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere and service were welcoming, 5-star. The kind of culinary journey I often seek.

Il Pescorante is always a guarantee. For several years, when we want fresh, well-cooked fish, we've been going there. From appetizers to dessert, everything is excellent. The recommended glass of rosé is also excellent. Special thanks to Betty, who manages the dining room; she made us feel at home from the first meal. She pampered and delighted us impeccably. What can I say? For those looking for an evening of authentic flavor and serenity, Il Pescorante will delight you.

19/02/2026: Exelent kitchen with authentic home made fresh food. You will fill like home of a family member. I went in the winter and was a little cold the place but appart from that a great trattoria.
19/02/2026: We went to this restaurant recommended by the owner of the hotel where we stayed. She told us that although it's a trattoria with truly excellent food, and she recommended the spaghetti with clams, I first want to point out that we had lunch inside, which felt like being at someone's home, given that the kitchen is right in front of the tables and everything was open, even though the table service was poor. I had the spaghetti with clams, which was really basic, to say the least. My husband had the scialiatelli with eggplant. The fresh pasta was good, but nothing special. For the price and the service, I wouldn't recommend it.
