Reading the numerous positive reviews we trusted and wanted to try Pesciolillo too! Unfortunately it was not a positive experience: as you can see from the photos the fried fish was completely soaked in oil and instead of being crunchy it had collapsed on itself. Probably having arrived at 11pm the oil was now used up from the day's frying and ours was inedible. We pointed this out to the waiter who promptly apologized and offered a limoncello for the inconvenience. No discount at checkout.

The place presents itself discreetly, despite its rather unfortunate location, behind the station. We had some fries as an appetizer and then a sandwich and a beer each. The fried calamari and anchovies were not bad. The main problem are the sandwiches which do not stand out either for the filling or the bread, which I actually found to be of poor quality (despite having been praised as handcrafted by them). Price a little high (more than 30 euros each) for the overall quality. Negative note is the very slow service.

A beautiful discovery! We went to eat at Pesciolillo while passing through Pescara and we hope to return as soon as possible! Welcomed by Alice and Giovanna, very kind and helpful, we ate 2 delicious sandwiches, as well as the chips, although we were very curious to try everything else! An excellent experience that I recommend to everyone!

Durante la nostra ultima visita a Pesciolillo , siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla qualità eccezionale dei piatti di pesce serviti. Situato nel cuore della città di Pescara , questo ristorante offre un’esperienza culinaria che va oltre il semplice pasto, panini farciti con pesce fresco molto succulenti.
Il personale (la signora Giovanna in particolare ) era attento e professionale, anticipando ogni nostra esigenza senza essere invadente. Pesciolillo non è solo un ristorante, ma una destinazione per chi cerca un’esperienza culinaria indimenticabile. È un luogo che consiglio vivamente a tutti gli amanti del buon pesce.
