Really good bread with stone-ground wholemeal flour and natural leavening. Baked after 11.30am, it's worth queuing or, better yet, booking it

Even if it doesn't have much space it can be used as an oven, in addition to bread it also has ready meals prepared by them so it's excellent as a diner. The only flaw is the service which is really too much but too slow and this means that you know when you enter but you no longer know when you leave. Personal advice, get a few more people to serve otherwise the customer risks having to wait in line all day...🤦‍♂️

07/12/2024: I’m so happy to find this lovely local place. The atmosphere was great - such a mix of people, a family with toddler, a party, small group of friends, couple - it seems like any occasion. They were very welcoming - they were fully booked but set up a little table in a corner for us, which was perfectly comfortable, and service was fast and smiley, with a good wine recommendation. We shared some crostini that were simple and delicious with different toppings like aubergine or burrata and anchovy. Then we both had a daily special - for me tonnarelli pasta with lemon and salt cod that was totally delicious. I loved that both the fish was meaty and firm to complement the al dente bite of the pasta, and the flavour of the lemon was delicate. My missus (who is from Rome) had the special orecchiette with turnip tops and she liked them too. The wine recommendation was great but I can’t remember the name. €70 for two including the wine. The photography exhibition was also a nice talking point. I’m looking forwards to be back again.
