Restaurant located behind the amphitheater in Piazza Sant'Oronzo in the center of Lecce. When you enter, you'll find a counter of the freshest seafood. All you have to do is choose your fish...the chef will take care of the rest. The cuisine is excellent, with top-quality ingredients. The cooking is perfectly executed...you can taste the purity of the dishes because you can breathe and taste the sea. A sign of the freshest seafood and the chef's excellent preparation. The staff is well-trained, friendly, available for every need, smiling, and kind. The location is beautifully decorated.

Excellent choice for seafood just steps from the city center. Fresh, good-quality fish, well-cooked. A little pricey considering the price per kilo, but overall, acceptable for me. Moka pot coffee is offered.

My wife and I ordered four courses. Octopus meatballs for an appetizer. Excellent. We skipped the first course and instead ordered two second courses: grilled octopus on a fava bean puree for me and gratinated cuttlefish for my wife. The octopus was quite good, and the dish was beautifully presented. The cuttlefish were unpresentable and inedible! Five gratinated cuttlefish thrown on the plate without even a single lettuce leaf. A sad dish, to say the least. The taste was even worse: soggy and bland breading. A decidedly flawed dish, prepared and presented without any care. But the worst thing, and for me intolerable, is that I mentioned this to the kind waitress and nothing happened. In a place that, like this, wants to set itself up with a certain pretension, it's unthinkable for a customer to express such displeasure, and no one in the kitchen even pretends to be sorry. I would have given it two stars, but at the end of lunch, the two desserts we'd ordered arrived, and they were really, really good. So, three stars.

Picking your own freh fish and seeing that prepared in minutes. Soo fresh an tasty. Great wines accompany the menu. Enjoyable all the way!
