We really enjoyed the dishes we chose: high quality, generous portions, and fair prices. The service could definitely be improved (e.g., all four dishes arrived at the same time and were all hot), but we felt the entire staff was doing their best. It just takes a little more organization (or perhaps experience). The atmosphere of the outdoor area is charming and relaxing. We'll be back and recommend it. Reservations are essential, otherwise you'll have to wait!

For our last dinner of our Puglia vacation, we chose Pesce Frittu e Baccalà in the village of Cutrofiano, far from the crowds and bustle of the seaside towns. As soon as we arrived, we were amazed by the beauty of the location in the town's main square. After a brief explanation of the menu, we ordered appetizers and first and second courses to share. The peppered mussels and seafood salad were very tasty, followed by excellent potato gnocchi with Gallipoli purple shrimp and cherry tomatoes. The service was very quick (perhaps too quick) at first, but slower for the second courses. The prices were fair. A good choice for a quiet evening of good food.

I chose this restaurant for two evenings, including August 15th, and I must say the experience was excellent. Everything, from the fried cod to the mixed fried pasta, from the linguine with mussels and clams to the snapper and swordfish fillet, was exquisite. The kindness of the hostess completed the evening: she willingly accommodated our request to sit in the little square (a more charming and breezy spot, highly recommended!). > Only complaint: the coffee ☕️ could be improved (for us Italians, that's an important detail!). Otherwise, the service, quality, and atmosphere were excellent. Ad maiora!***

Everything was excellent, even though the place was packed with customers. The food didn't take long to arrive. The service was quick, and the food was excellent. You could hear the sea. We'd love to return.

Bellisimo! But you need a reservation! We did not have one and still could not be seated until 10:00pm on a Monday night in August. Absolutely worth the wait though, the portions were great, the food was delicious, the service was awesome, and a pitcher of wine is more than enough for two people!
