Like Sunday lunch at grandma's, the best!

Small takeaway place where you can have lunch at some tables on the pavement opposite, some positioned a little precariously. Friendly staff. I arrived shortly after 2.00 pm, between one commitment and another I had in the Catania ring road, so I didn't return home for lunch, and, at that hour, there wasn't much choice. I took a slice of tuna that was well cooked and well seasoned, but unfortunately cold. In the meantime, the freshly cooked pasta with Catanese masculini arrived: very good, made according to the best Catanese tradition. Half portions of first courses are also served. Coffee was offered to me. It was a nice interlude for a quick lunch. The place was recommended to me some time ago by my son, when he was at university. In fact it is mainly frequented by university students and teachers from the nearby polyclinic. Excellent value for money.

Seafood gastronomy with an excellent quality/price ratio. A true Catanese excellence, waiting to be discovered and surprised by you. Never banal. I recommend everyone to try it

Proprietario e dipendenti gentilissimi, chiaramente il locale nasce come Gastronomia da Asporto, tanto che i soli 8 tavoli informali sono all'aperto sotto l'ombrellone ottima scelta di pietanze: antipasti, primi piatti, secondi, pesce e pollo, e dolci. Abbiamo preso 1 sovracosce di pollo con patate al forno, 1/2 insalata di polpo, 1/2 porzione di Pesce Stocco alla Messinese, 1/2 porzione di spaghetti Corde di Chitarre con uova di pesce spada e pomodorini di pachino, 1 gelo d'arancia con panna, 1 acqua minerale da 50 cl. 2 caffè omaggio. Conto €28,50 arrotondato a €28,00 con Scontrino fiscale regolarmente emesso e pagamento con tutte le carte di credito. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Allego foto.

Small restaurant (near the university citadel) on a communication route between the Etna capital and the surrounding towns. It is therefore aimed at both customers who frequent the University every day and "passing through" customers. The products (especially fish and almost always takeaway) are quite diversified, carefully prepared and of good quality. The average prices compared to the product can be defined as good.

Found at the last minute and well stocked. Wide choice for lunch, good quality and super friendly staff.

Excellent fish gastronomy, all delicious, both the first and second courses, with a wide daily choice. Efficient and punctual home delivery service. Very kind staff. I want to add that today (February 2024) I tasted a traditional Neapolitan first course: pasta, potatoes and provola, I found it well done, really good! Compliments.
