The place is not very large but welcoming. Impeccable service and friendly staff. Excellent quality meat. Superlative.

Located near the Mater Domini Sanctuary of Laterza, the Perrone butcher's shop is a well-known place specializing in the preparation of grilled meats. The restaurant is family-run, has an internal room with several seats, welcoming and quick service, with excellent value for money. Personally I had the opportunity to try and appreciate the following dishes: zampine (small beef sausages), panella con polpette (loaf emptied and filled with meatballs in sauce), turcielli (guts stuffed with lamb innards), Apulian bombette, lamb with onion. High quality products sold at competitive prices (average price per diner equal to 22 euros). Last but not least: biscuits with almonds and homemade chocolate pieces to pair with bitters or coffee! For those of you who find yourself in Laterza (20 km from Matera, the city of stones) this is an obligatory stop that will fully satisfy your needs: 5 stars!

Locale carino con personale di sala molto gentile ed accogliente. Abbiamo iniziato la cena con degli ottimo antipasti, molto buono il pane con polpette e salsicce, a seguire tanti assaggi di carne uno più buono dell'altro. Complimenti al signor Vito in quanto usa prodotti genuini .
