Everything was excellent. The place is very traditional and welcoming, and the food is delicious. Try the gnocchi with orapi, the fantastic cacio e ova balls, and the superb arrosticini.

I discovered this restaurant almost by chance and it was a very positive experience. The gnocchi agli orapi and the grilled meat were excellent. The restaurant is located in the historic center of Barrea, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. The staff are very friendly. A good place for a stop.

We went to Barrea to see the historic center of this wonderful village and were lucky enough to find a cancellation and take over three places we found on the spot.
A delightful place, perhaps a little small, but where the music and typical Abruzzo dishes are presented in a modern way. The quality of the daily specials is excellent. You have to try the wonderful pink gnocchetti, the cazzarielli with beans, the pumpkin lasagna, and above all a fried cheese served with caramel and almonds that will blow your mind. Not to mention the delicious, soft meatballs. We were full and didn't manage to try anything else, but we'll be back. Our furry friends are welcome, and that makes all the difference.

We tried two spectacular soups (a bean and pasta soup and a spelt and legume soup). The caramelized caciotta cheese was a wonderful find, and the arrosticini were average. The two waiters were kind and helpful.

We came to Barrea to spend a few days in the mountains and found this place to eat that enchanted us. Excellent food and friendly, helpful staff. We'll be back!
