We went there today passing through Trieste. Nice place. Very good dishes. Maybe the french fries were a bit too oily… but the rest was good. Generous portions. A warm greeting to the Sicilian waiter with whom we had a nice chat… we will definitely be back…

Pranzo di Pasqua prenotato tramite The Fork, eravamo in due.
Essendo turisti, abbiamo scelto di mantenere il pranzo leggero ordinando due primi piatti per poterli assaggiare entrambi: gnocchi al gulash e “strucolo di spinaci e ricotta in straza” (uno strudel di pasta fillo cotto tradizionalmente nello strofinaccio).
Il personale è stato molto gentile e accogliente. Prezzi nella norma.
La location è carina e piacevole: siamo stati sistemati nella prima saletta, non nella sala principale, ma comunque siamo stati bene.
Nel complesso, mi è sembrato un buon ristorante, e ancora una volta devo ringraziare The Fork per averci fatto scoprire un posto nuovo dove si mangia bene anche in una città che non conoscevamo!

Easter lunch booked through The Fork, there were two of us.
Being tourists, we chose to keep the lunch light by ordering two first courses so we could taste them both: gnocchi with goulash and "spinach and ricotta strucolo in straza" (a phyllo pastry strudel traditionally cooked in a tea towel). All very tasty.
The staff were very kind and welcoming. Prices normal.
The location is nice and pleasant: we were placed in the first room, not in the main room, but we still had a good time.
Overall, it seemed like a good restaurant, and once again I have to thank The Fork for making us discover a new place where you can eat well even in a city we didn't know!

Excellent restaurant a stone's throw from the seafront and in the historic center of Trieste. Beautiful location overlooking the sea on the veranda and inside the restaurant, all very nice and nice. Tried for seafood dishes, with excellent raw materials and very fresh fish. Very refined combinations and particular tastes, all excellent both starters and first and second courses. The desserts are also excellent.

Very nice tavern facing the port, 2 steps from the city center. Young and willing brigade, they work hard. Had a good dinner, apart from one dumpling with goulash which was particularly salty. It's a shame because the goulash was truly delicious. Overall still good, I would happily return.

The Goulash was good but the first one was really too salty... But I was wrong, I had to send it back... If you eat it rightly then you pay for it... I had waited about 30 minutes and I didn't want to wait another 30, but that doesn't take away the fact that I ate it!
