Definitely a very good place for a typical dinner and with good value for money. We had an excellent tuna steak and spaghetti alla Busara, typical of the place. Generous portion of spaghetti with a notable number of scampi. Very kind staff.

A beautiful place on the shores of Trieste with exceptional cuisine

Very nice place, friendly staff. The gnocchi with shrimp and courgette sauce were very good. The fry, in my opinion, had too little fish and too many vegetables.

Nice atmosphere, especially for the location. Trained and kind waiters (especially the Sicilian boy). The creamed cod is excellent, the first courses are also good. Fairly honest account.

Scegliamo questa osteria leggendo il menù su The Fork e ci rechiamo intorno alle 21.45 per la cena. Come prima portata prendiamo le tagliatelle al ragù e gli spaghetti alla busara di scampi. Partiamo dalle tagliatelle: ottimo il ragù, le tagliatelle troppo cotte, andavano scolate un paio di minuti prima; per quanto riguarda gli spaghetti anche loro leggermente lunghi di cottura, molto buono, invece, il sugo con gli scampi. Come seconda portata prendiamo il polpo arrosto con patate, ricci di mare e salsa verde e il fritto misto di pesce, crostacei e verdure. Il polpo era molto buono, cotto bene e morbido, ma non abbiamo riscontrato la presenza dei ricci nel piatto; il fritto era ben preparato, molto leggero, ma tanto abbondante. Peccato non fosse disponibile la tagliata di tonno presente nel menù perché l’avremmo provata volentieri. Data l’abbondanza delle porzioni non prendiamo il dessert. Accompagniamo il pasto con un buon vino bianco della casa servito al calice e due bottiglie d’acqua. Totale? 48,50€ a testa. Va bene come prezzo se consideriamo che siamo sul lungo mare di Trieste e che le porzioni erano molto abbondanti. Se consideriamo la qualità forse siamo un tantino alti perché non abbiamo mangiato male, ma semplicemente nella norma senza eccellere.
