A very nice, comfortable atmosphere and excellent service. The waiters are very friendly; I recommend the creamed cod and spaghetti alla Barcolana. The wine list is also excellent.

A charming place almost on the waterfront. The menu is limited, but it ranges from fish to meat and vegetable side dishes. The dishes are beautiful to look at, but above all, they're plentiful and delicious. The price is fair, and the quantity and quality are good. I tried the fish, but I'll definitely be back to try the meat as well.

Ci siamo stati per pranzo domenicale durante un weekend in visita alla città. La location è centrale, accanto alla piazza Unità d’Italia di fronte al Molo Audace: abbiamo mangiato dell’ottimo gulash e del baccalá mantecato morbidissimo e delicato. Prezzi nella norma e personale efficiente.

Trattoria da Mauro

12/11/2025: A typical restaurant on the Trieste Karst plateau. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is exceptionally polite and friendly. People like them are rare.
