If you're looking for a warm, typical, and very simple Italian village bar that also serves inexpensive and equally simple food, this is the place for you. Nothing more, nothing less, and considering the prices, it's perfectly fine. So, if you have higher expectations, you should look elsewhere. For the rest of you, enjoy authentic Italy. Perfect!

I stayed in Pognana for a week and had the opportunity to stop by Peppo's Bar several times. The drinks are always refreshing, the welcome warm, the food delicious, and the atmosphere charming. Not to mention the ice cream, which is excellent! A must-try in the village.

Every morning we enjoyed cappuccino and oven-fresh croissants in a typically Italian atmosphere. The owners are so kind, and the view directly onto the lake is priceless. Thank you so much for the many good mornings.

Ristorante TOMO

16/04/2025: TOMO used to be one of my favorite Japanese restaurants. I used to come here all the time. Unfortunately, it's closed now, which is a real shame. I hope they reopen soon—we'll definitely be back!
05/03/2025: Reading the lovely reviews below, I'm convinced that the evening I tried Tomo Restaurant was an unfortunate one. The atmosphere is very nice, well-kept, and clean. The food was very good: the fish was very fresh, the uramaki were just the right size, and the selection was plentiful. Unfortunately, the service was truly awful. The waits were endless and unnerving. Missing dishes, incorrect dishes... after hours of waiting, we were informed that an uramaki we'd requested several times was out of stock. I'll definitely give Tomo Restaurant another chance, because we ate so well! Let's hope next time is a good one!
