After arriving at our apartment, we looked for a typical Italian restaurant where Romans themselves eat. This restaurant truly delivered. We both ordered pizza, which was exactly what you'd expect your first pizza in Rome to be! The service was very attentive! When a drink was knocked over, we were immediately given a new one on the house. Highly recommended for a tasty bite!

Everything was delicious and fresh. Charlie was the most professional and friendly waitress in all of Rome. After four days since our first visit to Pepo, we went back again. Fantastic.

We booked a table for 8 people with our friends as a lot of the restaurants in the Trastevere area fon't take bookings. We arrived and initially there appeared to be some confusion and they couldn't seem to find our booking. They did however clear a table and get us seated pretty quickly. Nice food and friendly staff and service.

Everything we ate was spectacular. We were staying nearby and went back three times to enjoy the food. The service was excellent; Isma served us. It had been years since I'd seen such a professional and friendly waiter, especially one so young. As for a dish, I would recommend the marinara pizza. Doing something so simple so well is very difficult. I doubt I'll ever eat a marinara like that again (I'll have to go back to Rome and Peppo). 100% recommended

04/01/2026: We were looking for Mexican food in Rome and found this place. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We had a good time talking to the owner and she was from the same town in Mexico my father in law was from. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back when I visit Rome again.

13/02/2026: It's not the first time I've been to this place, and it certainly won't be the last. It's just that... despite it being well-deserved, I've never left a review, a review that must be five stars, and why shouldn't it? Given that the location is superbly nestled in the historic heart of Rome, maintained with love and professionalism, I fondly remember the mountains of flowers that were there during the spring and summer months. Shall we move on to the place? Beautiful, welcoming, clean, simply set, yet elegantly furnished, and why not talk about the staff? They too, without exception, were welcoming, clean, courteous, attentive, and everything beautiful you can think of. All that remains is the food. Do I even need to tell you how it tastes? I don't think so... I simply invite you to try it. I forgot, congratulations on the recently added covered outdoor area. Thank you.
