Not full 5 star but better then 4. 38 eur for two well feeded customers with drinks and 2 courses of meal. Staff of two people, cheff and friendly waitress. Managed the whole restaurant. Others could learn something from them... We had some small lokal dishes first and then two rich pizzas and drinks. The place is not the top but you come to eat and to feel and thats what you get... We will came back...

Dinner with friends. Historic local pizzeria-restaurant in the city center of the Mazzini area. Spartan environment, table in the outdoor area in an indoor structure. We had some salads and some pizzas, basic dishes done reasonably well. Fast service. It is advisable to book, the restaurant offers a take away service with collection at set times.

Peppino has been a guarantee for 20 years and never betrays. The dishes other than pizzas are also excellent.

18/07/2024: Petite découverte en famille, les pizzas excellente et le goût mama mia buona Je recommande celle à la figue excellent et celle à la mortadelle et burrata. Attention il faut réserver avant
05/07/2024: Tornati a cena come ogni anno. Il locale è stato rinnovato (io in realtà preferivo un ambiente più rustico come era prima). Comunque molto piacevole. Personale gentile. Tutto molto buono (pittule, palline di melanzane, formaggi, primi). Torneremo sicuramente.

01/10/2023: Servizio valido, antipasto valido ma nulla di eclatante e porzione un po’ scarsa per due. Pizza no. Farina scadente, lieviti nella norma, di fatto non buona a detta di tutti. Mi hanno stupito le patatine fritte. Non buone, asciutte, non gustose. Come si fa a sbagliare anche le patatine fritte? Il post cena genera il voto basso. Molta aria e stamattina in bagno… Uscire a cena per poi stare male… alzare la qualità del cibo siete in Salento!
