Excellent sandwiches... impeccable service. Thanks to Paolo, who, with his kindness and friendliness, offered us excellent advice... and not only that... the outdoor area has a stunning view.

I can easily give this place 5 stars for everything.
I know I only had one sandwich (which was good, by the way), but everything else deserves to be rewarded!
The staff is young and lively, they were attentive to the customers, and the atmosphere with that view of Castelmezzano is incredible.
Maybe it's due to professional instability, but I noticed and appreciated the branding work around it, from the logo to the placemats, the website, etc. It's all very cute!
Oh, great for giving my celiac girlfriend the chance to eat one of your sandwiches, a gluten-free version!
She was already about to give up on the usual platter with two crackers when you turned over her lunch, even with so little.

It must be said that when a group of young people take on a business, they deserve trust, support, and the utmost respect. Then, when it works... then applause is also due.
This was the case at Peperusko, a truly charming bistro in Castelmezzano.
Everything was prepared with taste and style. The food was exquisite and locally sourced (even the Tonnica mineral water came from Potenza!).
The location is extraordinary and truly folkloristic.
I highly recommend it and congratulate the owners!

A wonderful, very relaxing place to unwind after all the walking and trekking. The four of us ate very well, and it wasn't expensive. I highly recommend it.

A pleasant discovery in the heart of Castelmezzano! This small restaurant combines traditional Lucanian hospitality with simple, authentic, and flavorful cuisine. Its central location makes it perfect for a stop after a stroll through the village's alleys or a hike in the Lucanian Dolomites.
The menu offers traditional dishes with a tasteful twist: friendly and attentive service, a relaxed, family atmosphere. Excellent value.
Highly recommended for those who want to savor the authentic flavors of Basilicata in a simple yet elegant setting. We'll be happy to return!

Tutti i prodotti sono locali e alcuni di produzione propria, quindi abbiamo apprezzato i veri sapori lucani. Salumi, formaggi, dolce e amaro sono stai ottimi, e i peperoni cruschi davvero squisiti. Il tutto nella cornice delle Dolomiti lucane. Servizio veloce e cortese.

Great food and very friendly staff. I definitely recommend it when in Castelmezzano. They also have an amazing view from the terrace in front of the entrance. Compliments to them.
