We arrived in Rome in the late afternoon, tired from the journey, and stumbled upon this restaurant in the multi-ethnic area: Pepenero. The atmosphere immediately struck us as traditional and very welcoming.
As foreigners, we wanted to try traditional Roman dishes and were truly thrilled. The appetizers—zucchini flowers with battered anchovies, supplì, and fried brie—were delicious and well-prepared. The first courses, especially the carbonara (truly masterfully made) and the amatriciana, won us over. To top it all off, we tried a pinsa with escarole, anchovies, and Taggiasca olives: simply fabulous.
We left the restaurant completely satisfied and certain that we will definitely return.

always at the top, perhaps one of the best pizzerias / pinserias in the area, very honest prices, welcoming and attentive service, excellent carbonara and grill

The pinsa is delicious; the dough is light, flaky, and crunchy. The appetizers are very good, and there are many off-menu dishes. You can also order some typical Roman first courses and a few second courses. The atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet, and the owners are very friendly.
A historic pinseria in the multi-ethnic and alternative Torpignattara neighborhood.

A very family-friendly place, with a lovely terrace where you can dine al fresco. They were missing some dishes from the menu, and they didn't offer us the Tagliata No-Limits (which was the reason we went there for dinner), but we still ate well and had a relaxing time with friends. I recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing evening outdoors, without too many expectations, and good food. Special mention for the fried dishes, which aren't at all heavy.

Not far from the bus stop we had a table reserved for 21:30, but we arrived 20 minutes earlier and since there were free seats we sat down, but from the moment we entered the establishment to the time the dishes were served it took almost 50 minutes. This is probably a popular place, because almost all the tables were occupied. The dishes are delicious, and fresh, the pizza is very thin, crispy, lots of toppings, very tasty, I really liked it

The food is ok, nothing special.
The atmosphere leaves something to be desired.
The location could use a renovation in 2010 for starters, they stayed in 1990.
I originally wanted to eat there but it's not my style and I chose to eat takeout.
Pinsa has some weird combinations, I didn't get what I ordered right.
I also tried fried appetizers, but they were very mixed in oil.
All in all, if you end up in the area it's safe to eat.

Nel cuore di Tor Pignattara sorge questa pinzerai che offre anche ristorazione completa. Buone le pinse, fragranti e ben condite, gustose le polpette al sugo e schiumosa la birra alla spina. Prezzi nella media e personale affabile.
