09/08/2024: Recommended by relatives who live locally, we went to try the restaurant. The place is isolated set on the hills that surround the gulf of Talamone. Splendid view. There are various locations where you can dine: inside (a few tables), outside (under the pergolas or under very high awnings). Under the pergolas, the ventilation was not the best (ed). The service is as follows: laminated menu and order taken by a waiter. The food and water are paid for by the diner: with a squawking megaphone (in the confusion you could barely understand) you are called when the dishes are ready. A small descent with boulders for the floor makes it a little difficult for people who have some stability problems. Let's get to the food. I took 2x mixed cold cuts with pickled oil and cheese for two: not a huge quantity but good quality. 2x Stewed wild boar, not very tasty. 2x Pici alla buttera, good but nothing special. 1x Braised in Morellino: very good. Quantity, in general, not abundant. 2x French fries and 1x pan-fried peppers. I also had a slice of blackberry cake (fresh and good) and a coffee. Water (positive that you can go and fill it at will). Total of 95. Considering it's all a bit overpriced, it's worth a try.
