Pepe in San Giovanni left a great impression on me. The restaurant is spacious, with large, comfortable seats that allow you to eat in peace without feeling cramped or crowded. The atmosphere is pleasant and suitable for both a dinner with friends and something more informal. The staff is fast and friendly, always available and attentive, and the service is organized without long waits. The quality of the dishes is good, and you can sense the care taken in their preparation. I recommend the menu, which allows you to try different options at a reasonable price. In my case, the orange chicken was truly delicious, flavorful, and well-balanced. The eggplant meatballs were excellent, soft, and tasty, while the potato side dish was well-made, not too tough, and cooked to perfection. The sauces are provided directly by the restaurant, a detail that complements the dishes nicely. The desserts left a little to be desired compared to the rest, but overall the experience was very positive. For this reason, it deserves five stars.

We got a table when we opened at 7:30 PM, but it gradually filled up afterwards. The chestnut and pumpkin risotto was delicious! The pizza was amazing! The mushroom pizza was the best of our trip to Italy 🍕 The pasta wasn't our cup of tea; it was too salty (and the cheese smelled awful, haha, it wasn't their problem, it was just our taste 🥹). The spiced artichoke was very good, it tasted like bamboo shoots and bok choy, and the spices were very fragrant.

Amazing food! I definitely recommend choosing places that focus on the local clientele instead of tourists. Plus, the service was great, the girls were super friendly

Fantastic carbonara, as tradition dictates...without the trendy liquid creams (which I don't like). The Roman-style artichokes were delicious. Divinely cooked. Prices are perhaps a little higher than average, but that's understandable given the quality! I'll be back for the pizza!

Nice, very friendly atmosphere. Parking is hard to find. Excellent fried food. The pizza, for my taste, leaves a little to be desired, not because of the toppings or variety, but because of the dough. Friendly and helpful staff, obviously some minor issues when the place is full. Excellent beer, so-so wines.
