Let's say it's a family-run restaurant, the food is delicious, cooked in a wood oven, even the bread was served to us while it was still warm. The owner, a very nice elderly gentleman, serves the food with a trolley, similar to the hospital one, but the nicest thing, barefoot. It's like being in a movie brilliant comedy!

2024-04-23 4Stagione Falcone - pure Sicily! Having just got out of the car, Salvatore greets us in German. He is the senior and good spirit of the house. A moment later we hold glasses of delicious white wine in our hands - an inviting greeting ritual. 4Stagione is located just outside Falcone, very quiet in the middle of oranges, lemons and olives. The beach is about 250m away. It is a typical country house that has retained its Sicilian charm. There is a restaurant on the ground floor. The guest rooms are reached via a staircase that impresses very stylishly with granite and marble. Just like our room. Here, as in the entire house, care was taken during the renovation to maintain the purist charm of the house. The bathroom is contemporary, modern, but the style-defining elements such as windows, doors and furnishings have been retained. Only the requirements for contemporary hospitality are met with aircon, TV, WIFI and a large refrigerator. There are only a few rooms, so the exclusivity and aura are preserved. Francesco, the man of the house, looks after his guests with commitment and is always in a good mood. He is also the artist behind a large wood-fired oven in which he prepares the restaurant's food. We took advantage of the opportunity and Francesco served us his delicacies. Antipasti, pasta sicilia, swordfish involtini and salsiccia. Plus home-baked bread and a cool vino bianco - we were thrilled. Sicilian home cooking at its finest! Francesco told me that they are traditional recipes from his family that are passed down from generation to generation. This is how he learned to cook from his mother. All we can say is: Thank you Francesco's mom! Whenever we think of his delicious food, we will remember one of the most beautiful evenings of our lives.

We are always welcomed with a smile by the Owner and his Dad. Simple place, delicious and beautiful dishes tastefully decorated. I couldn't take photos because I was too hungry and they were so good 😅Bread is delicious - it gets that good flavor because it's put in a wood oven 👏👏👏 Dad who walks barefoot and unique!! He gives a maximum welcome.
