Second time I return to this place, highly recommended! Frequented by locals, few tourists. Characteristic atmosphere, delicious food, cooked very well with truly quality ingredients. The staff is very kind.

Friendly and efficient waiters, delicious lunch of traditional Bruschetta Toscana and Aqua mineral. I’ll be back for dinner! My receipt says Ristoro Pecorino. This one is in Pisa near the Duomo & Tower.

Very good meal in a friendly atmosphere. Artichokes, pasta, it was very good! We were no longer hungry for dessert. The house wine is particularly inexpensive (€2.50 for a 25 cl pitcher).

We had the pleasure of dining here on December 7, 2024. Service was friendly and professional. The food was amazing in every way: taste, presentation, and value. It seemed like a lot of locals were in the restaurant which is always a good sign. This restaurant is a gem. We are so glad we had the opportunity to dine here. If you’re visiting Rome, it is well worth the trip to this restaurant.

With a couple of friends we tried this restaurant located in front of the former slaughterhouse, in Testaccio, built close to the "cocci" mountain. It showcases Roman cuisine and the dishes tasted (cooked cutlets, tripe, Roman artichokes and chicory) confirm this. Service not fast but adequate, tables spaced far enough apart. Medium-high prices, however in line with a "trendy" city corner: 3 starters, 3 second courses, 1 side dish, 1/4 of house wine, 1 water for €93.

Pranzo speciale a base di carciofi...alla romana, fritti, .alla giudia....tutto buonissimo...prodotti di qualità...staff cortese e preparato...prezzi un pochino sopra la media...

01/12/2024: On the occasion of the "opening of historic homes" day, we went to eat at the old tavern. Simple cuisine, genuine products. Cozy place, friendly staff.
01/12/2024: The restaurant is very close to the Porta Romana entrance to the historic center and right in front is the Cotral stop. Delicious food, generous portions and very affordable prices. Fantastic truffled carbonara, with lots of truffles, for 9 euros. Friendly and pleasant staff. My friends were also very satisfied. If you are vegetarian or vegan and you don't find something on the menu that meets your needs, tell the staff and they will prepare dishes to suit your tastes too.

08/12/2024: Recommended by friends, we decide to have lunch at this restaurant. What can I say: we were thrilled as soon as we entered!!  The setting is very beautiful, and the panoramic terrace overlooking Rome, where we had lunch, is spectacular. An excellent welcome from all the staff and no less from the managers: all very kind. They immediately put us at ease, allowing us to spend some very pleasant time with a couple of friends. The dishes were all excellent: tonnarelli cheese and pepper, mezze sleeves all'amatriciana, the cold cuts platter and the squid ink crostini with a cream of anchovies and cheese. We ended on a high note with Mrs. Caterina's desserts: stratospheric!! I've never had trifle like this, but the hazelnut and pistachio semifreddos were no exception! as wine we took an ecological wine produced by them. What can I say: we can't wait to return to this restaurant!!!
11/11/2024: Beautiful venue, beautiful panoramic terrace. We dined inside given the current climate. Impeccable service, everything perfect.
