Roman tradition at high levels!!! Artichokes alla giudia, fried artichokes, supplì, meatballs, gricia, carbonara, cacio e pepe, rigatoni with pajata, sautéed in the mouth, fried lamb, desserts, all delicious. Money well spent. Congratulations 👍 go Rome

Typical Italian restaurant with many Italians and few tourists since it is somewhat far from traditional tourist Rome. We were very well served, at a good price and the food was delicious. Highly recommended if you are going to visit Mount Testaccio.

Restaurante típico italiano con muchos italianos y pocos turistas ya que está algo alejado de la roma turística tradicional. Fuimos muy bien atendidos, a un buen precio y la comida estaba riquísima.

Located in the heart of the Testaccio district, it is renowned for its authentic Roman cuisine. I particularly appreciated the carbonara and the tender and tasty lamb. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly service help make every visit enjoyable.

Best Roman-style and fried artichokes I've ever eaten, really top marks! And in any case everything was excellent amatriciana, roulades, Roman saltimbocca and delicious desserts, the ricotta tart with hot Nutella was truly exceptional! Excellent service.

Premise... I'm not used to giving 5 stars, but they deserve them all. Informal and warm environment, extensive menu with all traditional Roman foods (including off-menu foods) of excellent quality and... attentive, informal service (friendly but not intrusive) and very competent. A pleasant discovery, see you very soon!!!!

Ero già stata in questa trattoria e visto che mi era piaciuta sono ritornata per il mio compleanno. Nulla da ridire alla cucina che era gustosa, tantomeno al servizio ai tavoli. Quello che però non mi è piaciuto è il fatto che quando ho consegnato la mia torta in cassa per farla servire a fine pasto, la signora ci ha immediatamente avvisato del fatto che si facevano pagare 2 euro per servire la nostra torta. Per noi no problem, sé questa è la policy della trattoria, là si rispetta, d’altronde la signora ci aveva detto sin da subito che avevamo possibilità di scelta, puntualizzando “altrimenti la torta ve la riportate a casa”. Abbiamo quindi speso un extra di 10 euro ( 2 euro a testa x 5 persone ). Sono solita lasciare come extra una mancia corrispondente al 10% del conto, ma questa volta ho ritenuto opportuno non farlo in questa trattoria.

04/04/2025: " Magic in Genazzano! Authenticity and Quality on the Plate " If you are looking for an Osteria with identity, this restaurant in Genazzano is a real gem. Here the tradition of Roman cuisine is expressed to the fullest, with dishes that tell stories of true flavors, passion and quality ingredients. If you think you have eaten a good carbonara, prepare to question everything. This Osteria is a temple of taste where tradition meets perfection. Their carbonara is creamy to the right point, with a crispy bacon that melts in your mouth, the pasta is al dente as only true masters know how to do, the pecorino and pepper dosed with the precision of a centuries-old art. And then there is it, the egg yolk that envelops everything with a divine creaminess. I tried it in their version with FRESH truffle, fabulous! We then tried their Tonnarelli alla Pecorara: FRESH ricotta and bacon in a perfect embrace. There are dishes that conquer your heart at first taste, and their tonnarelli are the perfect example. A simple dish only in appearance, but capable of giving an explosion of balanced and enveloping flavors. A dish that tells the story of tradition with a touch of elegance. Second courses.. Pork cheek with Cesanese reduction and blueberries: very balanced, excellent cooking and a surprising contrast of flavors on the palate. Sheep skewers: simple but never banal. All accompanied by a warm and convivial atmosphere, where the owners and staff make you feel at home and every detail is taken care of with love. And finally the desserts? Unmissable! Wonderful tiramisu and Zuppa Inglese, two desserts that taste of tradition, ending the meal in the best way. If you are in Genazzano or the surrounding area, you cannot miss it. This place is not an option, but a mandatory stop. Trust me, it is worth every single bite. Rating? Absolute excellence.
