The food was very tasty. Simple, with very good ingredients. We waited a long time to order—about 20 minutes for drinks. The prices are a bit high, but worth it.

An evening with friends in a historic location in Testaccio, authentic Roman cuisine paired with excellent, quality, and courteous service. Try it again and again... and again. Excellent. I recommend it!

I double dipped on artichokes. The artichoke pasta was the best thing I ate in Rome! Service was friendly and excellent. Off the beaten path so definitely felt like a locals spot. Will for sure go back next time I’m in Rome.

A Roman trattoria where you can find, in addition to the typical local dishes expertly prepared, also the ones your grandmother or mother used to make. Their flavor is so identical that while you eat them, memories of your childhood or youth resurface, to the point that you eat and cry with happiness.

It was recommended to me by an acquaintance, and after reading the reviews, I was convinced to try it, but I don't think I'll be back.
First of all, the service was too fast: they took our plates and courses away before we'd finished; they were obviously in a hurry. Furthermore, the main courses were overly generous and served without any side dishes, which had to be added separately, thus increasing the bill.
I was also disappointed by the side dishes, especially the artichokes, which were tasteless.
I don't recommend eating here: there are better and less expensive restaurants in Rome.

I have nothing to complain about the friendliness, location, or quality of the food.
But waiting more than an hour for a first course order, considering that the appetizers had already been ordered before sitting down, seems excessive to me.
I personally noticed that the wait times for tables of four were much shorter, 15-20 minutes. Not to mention that the first courses were significantly larger.
I recommend not coming to tables larger than four people.
