Very nice experience in this out of the ordinary location. Restaurant located in the basement of an ancient noble palace, restored with taste and respect for the original. Welcoming environment, extremely nice and clean, the owner's original welcome, excellent food, excellent value for money.

Wonderful palace to say the least, we went for dinner last night, impeccable service, wonderful welcome and excellent food at fair prices. We will definitely be back!

Paterfamilias is located in the historic center of Paternopoli, in the beating heart of Irpinia, one of the most noble and ancient lands in Italy. The structure is housed in the cellars of an ancient palace with arches and tuff walls. Francesco, the owner, is a person who deeply loves the area and makes you feel at home. Excellent quality food and a wine that is a compendium of the entire Irpinia tradition.

La location è molto accogliente e Francesco è un ottimo padrone di casa. Menù degustazione squisito ( crocchette di patate con tartufo di Bagnoli, pasta fatta in casa con broccoli di paternopoli, maialino con riduzione di aglianico e scaroline, cestino di pasta frolla con crema e mela annurca) Rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile. Consigliatissimo

Siamo stati al Pater Familias una domenica a pranzo per festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre. Francesco il proprietario ci ha accolti e dopo una bella presentazione del locale ci ha accompagnato al nostro tavolo. Location molto curata e particolare, si mangia in una cantina. Francesco ci ha consigliato il menù degustazione composto da 4 portate più il Pizzillo Fritto per iniziare. Ottime tutte le portare, in particolare la polpetta di patate e tartufo su fonduta di caciocavallo e crema di sedano. Vi consiglio di lasciarvi guidare da Francesco per vivere una bella esperienza culinaria.
