Authentic South Tyrolean inn cuisine
The family-run restaurant has been serving traditional South Tyrolean inn cuisine for over 100 years and in the fourth generation.
Florian Patauner is chairman of the Association of South Tyrolean Inns and a guarantor of traditional regional cuisine made from the best ingredients.
The dishes are freshly prepared from seasonal local products. On our last visit during Törggelen time, we chose a traditional homemade bacon dumpling soup and a wonderfully prepared veal tongue from starters. The main courses, homemade buttery gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and a juicy onion roast were also first-class classics.
The stylish, cozy restaurant with the shady summer garden has been a byword for the best South Tyrolean cuisine and friendly, family service for many years.

Comfortable environment, impeccable and kind service in this typical restaurant in the Bolzano area. Excellent meat, and fantastic dumplings in broth. In my opinion, the price is consistent with the quality of the raw materials

Typical Tyrolean atmosphere. Excellent food and fast service. The only flaw is that the dishes of the day, therefore off the menu and spoken verbally, were priceless and we found ourselves paying for a fillet of beef (still very good) which in my opinion was too expensive for its size. I would happily return and highly recommend it

"Trattoria tipica", pochi km fuori Bolzano, posizionata sulla strada (forse qualche problema di parcheggio, non abbiamo chiesto se avevano loro, perché abbiamo trovato stallo pubblico che si stava liberando)
Ci siamo fermati un venerdì per pranzo. Locale strapieno, un tavolino per due ce lo hanno riservato.
Il menu offre piatti della tradizione. Abbiamo assaggiato canederli in brodo allo speck, una battuta di carne (buona e saporità anche se sembrava "frullata" avrei preferito forse una "granapiù grossa, ma nell'insieme positiva. Dolce strudel di mele (ne ho assaggiati di migliori) con panna e forse poco "caldo".
Il vino della casa viene anche servito alla caraffa.
Personale cordiale e veloce nel servizio.
Pur non amando particolarmente questo tipo di cucina, nell'insieme è stata una buona esperienza!

Im familiengeführten Restaurant wird seit über 100 Jahren und in der vierten Generation traditionelle Südtiroler Gasthausküche serviert.
Florian Patauner ist Vorsitzender der Vereinigung Südtiroler Gasthäuser und Garant für traditionelle Regionalküche aus besten Zutaten.
Die Gerichte werden aus saisonal erhältlichen einheimischen Produkten frisch zubereitet. Bei unserem letzten Besuch zur Törggelen-Zeit haben wir eine traditionelle hausgemachte Speckknödel-Suppe und eine wunderbar zubereitete Kalbszunge aus Vorspeisen gewählt. Die Hauptspeisen, hausgemachte butterzarte Gnocchi mit Steinpilzen und ein saftiger Zwiebelrostbraten waren ebenfalls erstklassig zubereitete Klassiker.
Das stilvoll-gemütliche Restaurant mit dem schattigen Sommergarten ist seit vielen Jahren ein Begriff für beste Südtiroler Küche und freundlichen familiären Service.
Eine Top-Empfehlung für Terlan.
