What a beautiful discovery! Some friends invited me to lunch last weekend in this restaurant on the outskirts of Pigneto, remembering my Abruzzo origins. The quality of the raw materials is exceptional and each dish is prepared with great attention to detail. The cuisine, inspired by the recipes of Abruzzo shepherds, is a real dive into tradition. Some dishes took me back to my childhood, when first my grandmother and then my mother cooked most of those recipes. Even the decor of the restaurant recalls the history of the region, of the traditional shepherds and of the typical Abruzzo transhumance. The kindness, sensitivity and passion of Andrea Del Vecchio, owner and chef, then make the difference, even on a human level. An authentic and unforgettable experience, not to be missed for passionate Abruzzo residents or simple lovers of good food.

A corner of true Abruzzo in Rome!!! Excellent and well presented dishes, suggestive location and Angelo is an excellent host. We had a great time, nice atmosphere and great food, highly recommended!!

Expectations exceeded! Convivial atmosphere, culture, passion and creativity. Ancient Polentina with clams and dried pepper from Altino was amazing, you could taste every flavour. Consistency of polenta never tasted before. I'm not a vegetarian with this grilled lettuce I could become one. Truly incredible. The aroma resembles a steak, the consistency remains crunchy, the goat's cheese fondue accompanies the chewing with creaminess and the right flavor, then the Montepulciano sauce and the oil seeds help to make the flavor infinite and even earthy. Ancestral but evolutionary!! I can't wait to return!

Excellent culinary culture, passion and ethics are poured into the dishes offered. Crazy raw materials and unique dishes. A convivial environment created with the skill of those who know, my pasta with chickpeas was an Oscar winner and the kebabs were succulent. Never eaten so good not even in Abruzzo.

Fantastic surprise! I happened upon Pastorie by chance and was fascinated by it. Gorgeous evening, great food! You can breathe the air of Abruzzo, a menu for all needs, this bread and chicory evokes the flavors of the past. 5 stars are few!

We were in this corner of Abruzzo in Pigneto and it was a wonderful discovery! Angelo, the owner, welcomed us warmly, telling us the story of each dish. You can feel the passion in every detail: delicious food, authentic flavors and quality raw materials. The location, inspired by a stable, is magical and suggestive, perfect for an intimate evening with friends or as a couple. Absolutely recommended!

Fantastic! I went to this restaurant for a business lunch and was very impressed. Dishes that in their simplicity are genuine and authentic, exhaustive and above all well balanced. Impeccable service, warm and welcoming location. Angelo, the owner, is an exceptional person. Super recommended for those who want to savor the flavors of tradition in a more modern way. I will definitely come back

True Abruzzo cuisine (confirmed by diners). Recommended environment, staff and atmosphere, even vegetarian dishes. Perhaps some portions could have been more generous, but all in all excellent value for money.

Trip to Rome for just two days and overnight stay in Pigneto! Traditional flavours, substantial, tasty, good cuisine. Rustic-elegant environment, with a beautiful effect. Friendly staff. Must try.
