A lovely accidental discovery
I'll start by saying that I wasn't familiar with Abruzzo cuisine, except for a few things.
So the surprise was even greater.
All the dishes we tried were excellent.
Especially the meatballs with Abruzzo pear tomato sauce, a very sweet sauce with a unique flavor.
Liver arrosticini, grilled lettuce, gnocchi.
An excellent dinner.

We ate very well: the artisanal arrosticini were superb, both meat and liver, accompanied by baked potatoes (also good, but a bit sparse) and an interesting roasted lettuce. We also had two appetizers: excellent cheese and egg balls and a reinterpretation of Russian salad with cheese instead of mayonnaise, which left us a bit cold. The desserts were good (a classic caprese with cream and a sort of deconstructed zuppa inglese), perhaps a bit pricey. In total, with half a liter of wine by the carafe, we spent €90. The service was excellent, and I also liked the place: it's charmingly decorated, with high tables perfect for groups (though there are also normal-height tables). If I had to mention one flaw: the lighting, which I found a bit cold and not very "intimate." Overall, I recommend it.

A true Abruzzo restaurant in the heart of one of Rome's prettiest neighborhoods.
Very distinctive dishes and truly remarkable quality, from classic arrosticini to typical Abruzzo first courses.

Nice place, a little too noisy with very heavy chairs that make a noise when they move.
Good, simple but tasty dishes.
Prices are perhaps a little high when you don't eat meat or fish; you're still in Pigneto.

We stumbled upon this place by chance while looking for a restaurant in Pigneto. There were no tables left, but the lovely lady serving us (the owner perhaps?) kindly set up an extra table outside.
What a hidden gem! The food was so flavorful and unique.
The grilled lettuce, spicy spaghetti, and liver skewers were absolutely amazing!
Service and hospitality were equally outstanding.
Definitely a place I’d recommend – 10/10!

The place is decorated in a very unique way and I love it every time we return.
The bruschetta with chicory is excellent. The cheese and egg balls are very good.
The pasta with chickpeas and pasta with potatoes are both better than the last; I couldn't say which was better.
The only small drawback is that the rump steak served with cheese and egg sauce is a bit pricey (€24.00) for the quantity served.
Overall, however, we were very satisfied.

For me, this is the best place in Rome to eat arrosticini, especially the liver ones. The menu offers many other delicacies, carefully prepared with selected ingredients. I always love returning.
